In his over 30 years in radio, Corey Deitz has been a radio personality in such cities as Chicago, St. Louis, Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, Richmond, Virginia Beach and Little Rock. His forte is "mornings", the most competitive day-part on a radio station. In 2008 he was nominated for a prestigious Marconi Award.

Deitz has written four books: The satirical "2012 Guide Book or How to Make the End of the World Fun", a political humor book, "Vilified! Red Meat for Conservatives From a Guy Who's Got a Lot of Beefs", a book about the inside world of Radio, "The Cash Cage", and a humorous memoir, "Lessons from Camp: Life in the Past Tents".

He has also written for various industry and general publications including: Morning Mouth, Radio Ink, Richmond Magazine, and Toastmaster's International Magazine. He now writes for and edits the Radio site at About.com.

Since 1991, Deitz has collaborated with Jay Hamilton as a two-man wake-up team. They were most recently voted "Best Morning Show in Little Rock, 2003" by Little Rock Magazine, and "Best of the Best - 2001" by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Previously they were awarded "Best Morning Show In Virginia" for 1992 and 1993 by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters. In 2008, they were nominated for a Marconi Award for "Medium Market Personality of the Year".

In addition to his Radio work, Deitz has done regional and national voice work for clients such as: Southern Ford Dealers, Southern States, Pittsburg Ford Dealers, McDonalds, Amarillo National Bank, Iowa Wireless, Alaska Sealife Center, Oklahoma Dept. of Commerce, Alaska First Bank, Humana, Cricket Wireless and many more.

Between 1981 – 1985 he jointly created and co-wrote "Dial-Log", a topical joke service marketed to hundreds of radio deejays across the United States, Canada, and England. Between 1989 – 1992 he created and marketed "Comfax", the first DJ comedy service delivered daily by fax.

Corey Deitz is a graduate of Kent State University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications and has also completed some graduate courses in his pursuit of a Law Degree.
