Spunky Old Broads Are Everywhere

Spunky Old Broads are celebrating everywhere. This is their month and they are expressing themselves in all kinds of ways. Mary Earl is a part of the Spunky Old Broad Community, founded by Dr. Gayle Carson, who is the spunkiest broad of them all.

Mary lives in Canada and has fun performing as a clown. She does it as a hobby but enjoys it as much as anyone. She's known as the "groovy grandma" and is 81 years young. And she doesn't have any plans of slowing down. Spunky Old Broads know how to live their lives and make the most of where they are in life. That's what makes them so inspiring.

Dr. Gayle as she likes to be called, says "S.O.B.'s don't retire from life, they take on all kinds of new challenges. They enjoy venturing into new territory since they don't have to answer to anyone any more. They volunteer and cheer others on as they go about their day, and that's exactly what Mary is doing."

Making people laugh and feel good about themselves is just one of the goals of this month. Rather than thinking of life after 50 as a hurdle, this group takes it on as a challenge to a new way of living. Dr. Gayle concentrates on regret free living and says that "this is the time for all women to find their voices and live joyful lives."
