Spunky Old Broad Month and the Over 50 Crowd

There is one week left to Spunky Old Broad Month but we're not going away. So says, Dr. Gayle, the original S.O.B.
The Over 50 woman is not going away and seems to be growing in population and popularity every day. They are taking more exotic trips, trying new professions, dating younger men, having lunches with best friends, buying themselves the expensive jewelry and generally having a grand old time.
"Being over 50 today has a lot of advantages," says Dr. Gayle. "Today's woman has so much confidence and experience that she is branching into arenas she never would have thought of just a decade ago." More "over 50" women are running marathons, opening businesses and making their own financial decisions than ever before. They are healthier, wealthier, more educated and are willing to take more risks as well.
And it's interesting that they are now some of the highest paid wage earners as well. Although multi-tasking has gotten a bad name in the last year or so, women are still the experts at getting more done with less time than anyone else. They manage to hold jobs, keep families together, do a three time a week workouts, volunteer and still have time for their friends.
So enjoy this month, Spunky Old Broads, and continue to weave your message the rest of the year because everyone needs it.
