The State Of The African American Male

CHICAGO – Free conference and free workshops at the "State of the African American Male Conference" this weekend on June 25, 26, and 27 at Malcolm X College in Chicago. The college is located at 1900 West Van Buren.
This important and critical conference is being held to provide a forum to address the questions and solutions to issues of the human conditions around the world. Mr. Lerone Bennett, Executive Editor, Ebony Magazine, will be the keynote speaker.
Reverend Walter Jones, CEO, Fathers Who Care and Motivational Speaker and Fathers' Rights Attorney, Jeffery M. Leving, will be panelists in the Effective Parenting Workshop on Saturday, June 26, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. They will discuss issues including father involvement and promoting healthy relationships and marriages. There is much more to follow.
Conveners of the conference include Congressman Danny K. Davis; Congressman Jesse L. Jackson; and Congressman Bobby Rush.
