Caregiving expert and senior advocate Carol Bradley Bursack, founder of Minding Our Elders, and Barbara Mascio, founder of Senior Approved Services have collaborated in a way that they feel will help caregivers and seniors find the best support and care possible. Bursack is an author, speaker and columnist specializing in elder care and boomer and senior issues. She is the author of the portable support group "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories" She also writes a weekly eldercare newspaper column, speaks at conferences and presents workshops.

Bursack has been interviewed on many national radio shows, including "Mr. Eldercare," "Late Night Counsell with John Counsell and "Today's Author." She will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Consumer's Digest.

Over the span of two decades, Bursack cared for seven elders. In "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories," she writes about her own experiences and also includes the stories of 20 other caregivers.

Bursack is a member of AARP, Children of Aging Parents, the National Caregivers Advisory Panel and the National Family Caregivers Association, the National Association of Baby Boomer Women and the National Association of Women Writers. As an expert in her field, she is included in Montclair's Who's Who in Health and has written hundreds of articles for national publications. Bursack is also a contributing author to The Media Librarian's Handbook, to be published by Facet Publishing (UK) in 2008.
