Morning Host Doug McIntyre of KABC Radio in Los Angeles Has Corrupt Local and State Officials in the Crosshairs

Doug McIntyre, Heard 5:00 am to 9:00 am on KABC Radio, Los Angeles
With Los Angeles and California public officials continually demonstrating their inability to fix major problems and their proclivity for corruption and making matters worse, Doug McIntyre, popular morning radio talk show host on KABC Radio in Los Angeles, is leading a daily charge to expose their obvious shortcomings and disgusting arrogance. Every morning, he reports facts and adds his own cogent analysis on such issues as immigration, homelessness, gang violence and the upside-down world of police and Los Angeles City policy in dealing with all three issues and more.
His favorite target this week has been California State Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez and what he terms "his Caligula-type" lifestyle as he illegally spends millions of dollars from campaign contributors on airline tickets, wine parties, high end clothing and lavish gifts for friends, foreign officials and whoever needs to be "greased" On Oct. 11, McIntyre mockingly quoted Nunez's outrageous statements to Los Angeles Times reporter George Skelton as he attempted to justify the spending. When Nunez commented that he was a big hit all over the world because of the State Global Warming Initiative he pushed through this year, McIntyre decided it was better to "jump on the Global Warming bandwagon" because so many con-men -- and women -- seem to be cashing in on this still questionable issue. McIntyre was absolutely astounded at the high-handed manner in which Nunez and other California State officials chose to conduct themselves, truly a window into a world of political "noblesse oblige," where the same cast of characters trade offices to keep their fingers in on the easy money. McIntyre, who will start writing a column for the Los Angeles Daily News on Sunday, Oct. 14, has also been riding roughshod on Los Angeles Mayor Tony Villaraigosa, a man who never met a camera he didn't like and whose smiling face seems to show up all over the world. McIntyre has often said that the mayor "might as well have an office at LAX since he is always flying somewhere" While Los Angeles faces major problems, the media-happy mayor jets all over the world on quests for all kinds of vague reasons. A big issue for the crusading morning host is an illegal telephone tax that has been imposed on L.A. citizens that is about to be struck down by the courts, leaving a nearly $300-million-dollar hole in the budget of the money-wasting, illegal-alien-pandering, socialist L.A. City Council and mayor. McIntyre found out that the mayor had paid for a series of focus groups on how to "bamboozle" the voters, regarding an initiative that will be on the next presidential election ballot to make the tax legal. McIntyre has vowed to "the lead a crusade to hang up on the illegal phone tax" The mayor and City Council, along with Los Angeles United School District, as he reports, are never at a loss for green lighting useless programs or just throwing millions of dollars down the drain. McIntrye was screaming this week about the $100-million computer system that the LAUSD "lost" and the 100,000 trees purchased by the City, announced with full media fanfare by L.A. Mayor Tony "Piano Keys" Villaraigosa to "green" the city, that were subsequently "misplaced," which means stolen or lost. Doug McIntyre, who often fills in for Bill O'Reilly on his nationally syndicated Radio Factor, is clearly the most entertaining and informative host in Los Angeles. His insight is spot on, his sense of humor is clever and biting, and his ability to frame the issue in a variety of different ways showcases his well-tuned intellect. All concerned citizens must support McIntyre's efforts and should hold these officials accountable for their actions, just like the regular folks they profess to be looking after. Listen and learn from 5 am to 9 a.m., Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. Brad Butler
