Dr. Chika Onyeani, Author of controversial bestseller Capitalist Nigger, Slams African Leaders on October trip to South Africa

Nigerian born Dr. Chika Onyeani, publisher and editor of African Sun Times, just completed a two-week whirlwind trip to South Africa where he was the keynote speaker at two major functions. Alumnus of universities in England and the United States, Onyenai is an outspoken critic of the African intellectual class/intelligentsia as well as their political and military leaders, while also professing an equal amount of disdain for American black leaders who preach their own brand of victim hood mentality.
In his October 6, 2005 speech in Johannesburg, South Africa, Onyeani first thanked the sponsors and then related a humorous joke about how African presidential leaders steal money from their people. Then he brought home a main theme of his book by emphatically stating that, being honest and frank, "nobody owes The Black Race anything"
Putting this in perspective he issued this chilling and self-deprecating warning to young Africans, "One thing I must tell you right upfront is that you, the young people, must never carry the baggage that my generation of Africans is trying to unload on you. Normally, it is said that a son who learns and resembles his father, is a good thing. But let me tell you that it would be suicidal for you to do that, why, because my generation of Africans has been a disgrace to the memory of a race that is the cradle of humanity, a race that brought civilization to the world, a race in a continent that possesses a greater percentage of the world's natural resources. If you see us coming, please I plead, take the other way"
Citing the Spider Web Economic Doctrine from his bestselling and hard hitting book, Capitalist Nigger: The Road to Success, Onyeani laid down the example of how one dollar spent throughout an ethnic business community can turn into eight dollars. Noting how recently arrived Indian, Korean and Chinese immigrants have made huge strides in a short time in the United States, he related that upon arrival they did whatever it took to get work and then created this multiplier effect by patronizing businesses within their own ethnic communities. All too often black communities are at the mercy of other groups and thus ignore this important key to economic growth and political power.
The electronic and print press featured Onyeani on numerous occasions during his stay in South Africa, highlighting his views and the fact his book was selling out all over the country.
