(Seattle, WA) The Peruvian Shaman, Washington Gibaja Tapia is visiting Seattle from July 10th-15th to be interviewed for Nourish Your Soul TV and to speak at the Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on July 14th on his work caring for the poor, homeless and disabled in his native country of Peru. Washington spoke at the Quest for Global Healing Peace Conference

in Ubad, Bali with other esteemed speakers such as President Yudhoyono of Indonesia and the Nobel Laureate Panel consisting of Bishop Desmond Tutu, Betty Williams and Jody Willliams in May of 2006. His energy, wit and knowledge of ancient Incan wisdom captivates audiences through the world. His work with Mark Victor Hansen in Orlando for the Enlightening

Millionaire Institute saw him speaking to over 2000 people. While he is here he will be endorsing the Peru Womens Writing Workshop in Cusco from Aug 31st - Sept 9th.

The writing workshop is exclusive for women and is facilitated by Julie Salisbury, Founder of InspireABook(tm), a workshop program designed to

inspire, educate and help writers to publish their writing into self-published books. "Many writers need a creative spiritual place to write, so why not combine your vacation with a writers workshop? For many, this workshop can even be written off as a business expense and you'll come away with all the tools you need to turn your writing into a book and how to market and

promote it." says Salisbury. Washington will be the Shaman guide for the writers group leading them on sacred journeys through Inca ruins, Machu Picchu and the sacred Valley, as well as giving the women a hands on, grass roots experience of volunteering with the children of the Andean villages of Willoc and Patacancha.

One of five children born in poverty to a teenage mother, hungry and abused, Washington persevered and has used his experiences as a catalyst to transform his own life and the lives of the unfortunate. Passionate about helping others, he has confronted the President of Peru demanding better conditions for the poor and disabled; established a restaurant in 2002 that daily feeds 120 street children; teaches on-going classes aimed at ending abuse and alcoholism, birth control, entrepreneurial skills and conflict

resolution; and has opened The Restaurant of the Universal Heart in Ollantaytambo where children can come daily to receive nourishing food.

"This tour visits the restaurant so that the women can truly understand Peru and meet the children in the villages. We help them prepare lunch for the local school children and give them gifts of school supplies. It inspires the women to write about their experiences." adds Salisbury.

With the support of Dr. Sharon Forrest, founder of the nonprofit Path of the Heart, Washington graduated at the top of his class from Laredo Institute, a

private university, with a degree in Tourism and Business Administration.

This 26-year old is a tour guide for Red Lotus Tours and is the Shaman guide for the Womens Writers Retreat which is being facilitated by InspireABook Founder Julie Salisbury and lead by Diana Love, Co-Founder

of Red Lotus Tours.
