Eldercarelink Adds “Assisting Hands Home Care” to Senior Care Roster in Illinois
Fargo, ND
Wednesday, March 25, 2009

ElderCarelink, a national online eldercare referral service, has helped over 450,000 families find quality local eldercare resources to support their needs. ElderCarelink is continually adding businesses to its roster, so caregivers around the country can, by taking a brief survey, decide on the services they need and the best available businesses to provide these services.

ElderCarelink is happy to announce a recent addition, Assisting Hands Home Care, to the referral service. Assisting Hands Home Care, is owned and operated by Richard Ueberfluss, a Physical Therapist in Naperville, Illinois. The company, which started in January of 2009, is a Licensed Home Services Agency in the State of Illinois. Assisted Hands Home care provides services in the Illinois counties of Cook, DuPage and Kane counties.

"As a licensed Physical Therapist, I saw the need for good quality home care and increased awareness of the growing needs of the elderly to stay at home safely," Ueberfluss said. "Many of my patients were discharged from the hospital without the in-home Activity of Daily living support they needed and an unfortunate few reinjured themselves unnecessarily because of unsafe home conditions.

"We stress our free fall-prevention and safety screening which is done by a licensed Physical Therapist, as falls are one of the main worries families have about their loved ones. We specialize in watching for elder abuse. We provide home making help, companionship and personal care, all provided by in-home caregivers who have CPR and First Aide training.

"We pride ourselves on providing a personal touch," Ueberfluss said. "We offer immediate response, 24x7 phone support, electronic monitoring and videophone technology, training including CPR and First Aide training for our caregivers.

"A quality Physical Therapist provides home safety and fall prevention screening. We provide electronic monitoring and videophone technology. We also do twice monthly on-site visits, as well as providing weekly communication by phone. This helps the long-distance family members know how things are going.

"Some special features we are working on are providing weekly videophone calls with clients and caregivers, as well as family three way conferences to improve communication with families. Also, I am developing protocols for medication reminders.

"I choose eldercarelink to provide quality, qualified leads for elders needing in-home services," Ueberfluss stressed.

Eldercarelink is an ideal resource for families seeking care for their elders, no matter where they live. Eldercarelink services can be found here. For eldercare companies interested in joining the referral network call:
