Biopharmaceutical Landscape Ahead - NIH to Host Cerulean's John Avellanet

As part of its Biotechnology Business Leadership course, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences will feature Cerulean's Managing Director, John Avellanet, on the challenges biotechnology and pharmaceutical executives face over the next ten years
Mr. Avellanet will speak and answer questions on personalized medicine, the role of money and reimbursement, dealing with the FDA and regulation, and other realities of doing business in the global biotechnology marketplace. Mr. Avellanet will provide lessons drawn from his own experiences with regulatory compliance and new drug and device development and commercialization
The session will take place on April 21st at the NIH and be moderated by Dr. Yali Friedman, founder of DrugPatentWatch and Managing Editor for the Journal of Commercial Biotechnology.
