Apply Now: Business Strategy Grants Available From Growth by Design
"We are proud to offer a unique grant opportunity to businesses, ready for increased growth," said Larry Mandelberg, head of Growth by Design.
The Foundation Diagnostic is a one-day workshop with a company's leadership team and a trade-marked feature of Growth by Design. During the diagnostic, Mandelberg's firm will identify, quantify and expose barriers to profitable growth within the business being examined. The grants from Growth by Design will enable the winning applicants to set up such workshops.
"Generally, we look at businesses in our area of northern California or Nevada," Mandelberg said. "The grants do not provide for travel expenses. But we could travel nationwide, if the company pitched in on the travel side. We also examine firms with a minimum of 30 employees or fewer than 1,200 employees. This entity, group or division must also have internal independent leadership and budget authority. "
"Participants will experience renewed energy and clarity of what it will take to remove road-blocks and optimize staff performance," Mandelberg said. A diagnostic report to the business will outline organizational issues and related symptoms along with recommendations. According to Growth by Design, The Foundation Diagnostic will permanently help to eliminate nagging problems and position the organization for sustainable, profitable growth.
"Our world has changed, and if you haven't made time to re-evaluate the environment in which your business is operating, you've left yourself exposed and vulnerable," Mandelberg wrote in The Sacramento Business Journal last month.
Typically, the Foundation Diagnostic is a six-month program that offers hands on support to the business involved. This program can require an investment of $18,000. "But through this special grant program we are offering, six businesses will be selected to undergo the strategic planning review," Mandelberg said.
Growth by Design offers the following grants until the end of the years: two grants at $18,000 each; two grants at $12,000 each; two grants at $6,000 each.
