A 'Smart' Bed That Actually Stops Your Snoring
Tampa, FL – September 2, 2009) Like me, you've probably seen all kinds of gadgets claiming to help solve your snoring problem. Some are gadgets that clip on your nose rather painfully. Some wrap around your teeth and gums. Oh the pains people go through to stop their snoring.
The newest and most innovative development is a fully anti-snoring bed. Say what??? Yep! The bed actually features a listening device that gently and tenderly adjusts your head's angle when it 'hears' you snoring.
According to sleep disorder doctors and specialists, snoring is caused by the vibration of the soft palette in the rear roof area of your mouth. When you're awake, your brain prevents 'snoring' as a matter of civility just as it causes you to cover your mouth when you cough. But when you're asleep, the 'civility' monitor in your brain goes to sleep too allowing that soft palette area to vibrate.
I've known so many sleeping partners with snoring problems that have had to revert to finding a distant room in the house to sleep in so that they didn't annoy their bed partners.
