It's a book, it's a movement, no it's a request to consider cooling the planet as a team.
Look at the top of the website, www.ourrevolution.com….there is an invitation to tweet the President, call the White House, or sign the petition to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline from throwing the Missouri River and the climate off balance.

There is also an event at the Glendale Alex Theatre tonight sponsored by Glendale Arts and by Vroman's Bookstores with speaker, Bernie Sanders, which is sold out.
It may be just the Green Tuesday that keeps on giving, but the book, published by Macmillan is available as will the opportunity to bring the idea of Standing with Standing Rock up.
"Cool It" was the cover of National Geographic last November…. This year it may be that we are learning to see the costs of putting more CO2 in the atmosphere and the warming that Long Beach, Los Angeles and other cities are standing to slow down.
Here's some links to explore what you know, where you stand, what's going on, and who might have a calculator that could explain the hothouse phenomenon, the melting ice caps, the change in the poles, the impact on wildlife, the gap between what we use and how we impact the environment and daily habits that make urban cities sustainable and recovery more likely.
We have a choice to not be scared, but be active. It seems like Macmillan, the Rose Parade, the Water Agencies, the Schools, the City Stormwater, to the State Parks and Federal Agencies are aligned in a Kismet type moment…let's clean it up, let's be resilient, let's turn around old habits and find a way where there otherwise might be no way.
We all need fresh water. It's precious. It connects us. It's part of a universal commons on a small, hot, dry and crowded planet.
Here's some links to find out about what all the noise is all about….becoming 21st century stewards and standing for values that protect not just the Water Protectors, but the water, our wildlife, our air and our crops. It's no longer follow the leader, but look at what motivates the sustaining story and the possibility of restoring our ecosystem as we did after the Dust Bowl. No matter what side you are on ….it only makes sense prevent what can impact our health, happiness and security because water and resources …irreplaceable and everything is all connected. We have to take the steps for life to lower our manmade parts per billion in the air as well as mediate the impact of industry as soon as possible.
Take a look and or read the website, the book, and use your voice because it matters and the impact of not participating is too harrowing.
