The website LegalPleadingTemplate.com has added two dozen new legal forms, court templates and pleading paper designs. They are all free to download and print.
"These forms are ideal for law offices and courthouses as well as law school students or people representing themselves in court," said Kevin Savetz, who created the site in 2008. It complements the FreePrintable.net sites that feature business forms (BusinessFormTemplate.com) and medical forms (FreePrintableMedicalForms.com).
The new additions to the site include both court forms and law office forms, all professionally formatted. The selection includes a motion to dismiss, estate forms for distribution of assets, a breach of contract petition, simple eviction and injunction forms and a petition for a name change. LegalPleadingTemplate.com also has a category of forms for notary publics.
In addition, there are new letter templates for settlement offers, counteroffers, rejections and acceptances. Other new forms include some set up for family courts, such as divorce and child support and custody affidavits along with worksheets to inventory assets and prepare for hearings or mediation.
"I've added new legal pleading paper designs, too," Savetz said. "The site started with just pleading paper but the category has expanded over the years and now includes state-specific paper and paper with varying lines and spacing."
Everything at the site is free to download and print individually. Or, there's a new, time-saving option to instantly download the entire collection of 275 legal forms, templates and pleading papers for $99.
With printables from LegalPleadingTemplate.com, users should be sure to check with the court in their area for its specifications. Also, the printables should not substitute for legal advice.
There are nearly 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
