I was recently asked to write a
blog post for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Blog about a recent grant I was awarded together with a company called Condax. The grant explores the development of a new female condom that has the potential to enhance female sexual pleasure and support male erections as well as prevent or reduce a woman’s risk for getting HIV.
Women in the 50+ age range are among the fastest growing segment at risk for STDs and in sub-Sahara Africa, HIV is increasing rapidly. Women will have a form of contraception that they control that also is a positive experience sexually. To read the post
