SuperSniffer™ Skills & Drills by Debby Kay at the IACP Conference in Orlando, Florida – April 19-21st, 2012! Internationally known and respected for her work in dog training and specifically her expertise and involvement early on in the development of search and rescue dogs in North America, Debby Kay brings her knowledge to share in a hands on workshop at the upcoming IACP Annual Conference in Orlando – SuperSniffer™: Skills & Drills as Tools for Problem Solving.
Debby Kay "nose" how to how to bring out the best in both humans and dogs with an enthusiasm that sparks a drive towards high performance. Debby has been breeding and training dogs since 1969 and hundreds of her dogs work as service animals for the blind and physically disabled, seizure alert dogs, and assistance dogs for the autistic. They also serve as working members of police, security and SAR organizations around the world. Debby also trained the first toxic waste detection dog and was a pioneer of using dogs to help ecologists, geologists and field biologists find specimens for their research.
In her SuperSniffer™ seminar, Debby will be providing background on her methods and sharing some of the behavior problems she has seen addressed by these same methods. Debby will suggest uses for her method in teaching search and rescue dogs, running day cares, working with geriatric dogs and sharpening competition dogs.
This will be a hands on workshop, so come prepared to learn and "try it out" with Debby's enthusiasm and guidance right there to assist and guide.
