Short-term care insurance website launched www.shorttermcareinsurance.org

Los Angeles, CA - The National Advisory Center for Short-Term Care Information officially launched an official website (www.shorttermcareinsurance.org) designed to support the growth of short-term care insurance sales in the United States.

"We see enormous potential for sales growth for short-term care insurance and a real earning opportunity for the many agents who market both Medicare and long-term care insurance products," announced Jesse Slome, director of the National Advisory Center and the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance.

The new website launch was tied to the Center's national ad effort designed to create consumer awareness for short-term care insurance.  "Next month the first ad to create awareness for STC insurance appears in Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine," Slome explained.  Supported by seven leading insurers, the ad offers consumers the opportunity to access a free guide via the Advisory Center's website.

"Short-term care insurance industry policy sales increased 20 percent in 2015," Slome shared.  "Once consumers learn more about the benefits, I foresee even greater growth," Slome predicts.

Phase two of the website development will be a comprehensive Agent Center.  "Agents will be able to access product information, sales training video modules as well as generic marketing materials," according to Slome.  The agent-oriented information will be available by the end of summer.

The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance (www.aaltci.org) is the national trade organization focused on educating individuals about the importance of planning for the risk of long term care.  The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (www.medicaresupp.org( focuses on Medigap industry issues and helps link consumers with Medicare Supplement agents.  The National Advisory Center for Short Term Care was established in 2015 to build awareness for the important role short term care insurance plays in protecting seniors.
