After nearly 10 years of being gluten-free and 5 years of living the paleo lifestyle, I was heartbroken when my food choices were no longer providing relief to my chronic abdominal pain, brain fog, adult acne, histamine reactions and mood stabilization issues. I had gotten to a point where I was reacting the everything I ate except for boiled meat and chicken bone broth. My reactions were debilitating and devastating. I had lower abdominal pain that would not subside, I couldn’t think straight and my skin continued to get worse. I not only struggled with acne, but I began developing bumps on my arms and on my legs and food seemed to trigger strange mood and neurological responses. I was at a loss of what to do.
As a leader in the paleo community, this was disheartening for me. I had committed my life to healing chronic health issues, but I was no longer staying well. After struggling and declining, I performed some tests and was positively diagnosed with SIBO. I was doubtful that the Atrantil would continue working, but I was wrong! It has been two weeks now, and I haven’t had a single reaction to the food I’ve eaten. On Thanksgiving, I ate an incredible spread of food including an incredible crab & artichoke dip that I made with artisan cheese and served with a homemade rice flour baguette, and I have had NO NEGATIVE REACTION. I have cried several times from pure joy! I feel like I have my life back. I am able to finally function, enjoy time with my fiancé and enjoy the food I’m eating.
In addition to alleviating digestive discomfort, the acne on my face has gone away 100% and the bumps on my legs have also disappeared. My neurological responses to food have stopped and my mood has stabilized. Everything feels different. I will continue to eat gluten-free and high-fat, as it makes me feel and perform my best, but it is a blessing to simply be able to eat again.
