It's a social media year.  2015 brings us to service overloads, toxic computer viruses, and a whole new Peter Principle except it's not Peter, it's me as a teacher moving very fast to overcome my fear of technology and setting up systems and I'm still going. I'm working on skills for school and for solvency.  We are part way there.

As Director of Neo, Inc. and teaching artist, I'm working to analyse products, products, systems, apps, publishing products and catch up.  For now, it feels as if I've barely scratched the surface.  It's harder to have a portfolio, sell something, create a website or pay these bills than I thought.  However, it's New Year's Day and I have a request and good cheer out of this complaint.

I got my first physical product cast with the help of a mentor and his colleague in the Jewelry District. Out of events, by mid December we had two prototypes and set up a by order store on Etsy for our first inventory.

An affordable, artisan necklace.  WOW! Not cheap, but at $80.00 with an adequate price that we can make a difference for others as a social eco enterprise.

My news, it didn't kill me.  I made it through the breakdowns and did it solo.   This builds self-confidence and allows you to take a look at the product so we can underwrite literacy programs and match first quarter grant requirements as a project that is moving from a community pilot to publishing products that can help defray costs and pay for scholarships either in school or after school.

I learned patience and surrender.

But I'd love to show you want it looks like and generate year end gifts and interest in distribution.
