July 24, 2014 -  The first virtual conference for insurance agents and financial professionals who market and sell Medigap and senior insurance products was announced today by the American Association for Medicare Supplement  Insurance.

"We will stream live sessions over the internet and available free of charge," announced Jesse Slome, executive director of the Association and the conference architect.   The Association is partnering with Virtual Insurance Conferences and Expos that will broadcast the conference online.

The virtual broadcast is set for April 14, 2015, pre-registration is required in order to receive the actual webpage where viewing will be possible.  "Virtual conferences do away with the cost and time involved in attending an actual event," Slome explains.  "It's really the next best thing to being there and you can even chat with others watching the live broadcast."

Virtual Insurance Conferences recently streamed sessions from the 2014 Long Term Care Insurance Sales Summit.   Some 2,100 insurance agents registered to watch and over 1,100 tuned in to live broadcasts each day.

"The Medicare Supplement Sales Summit will offer sessions for agents just starting out and for those who specialize in Medigap products," Slome explained.  Sessions are 15 minutes in length which makes them ideal for viewing online.  "The speakers will pack their most powerful ideas into just a few minutes," Slome adds.  "It's all relevant information with no promotion."
