The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance announced plans to stream a live feed of select sessions from the organization's 2015 National Med Supp Insurance Summit.

"This is the only national conference exclusively focused on Medigap insurance products and we plan to stream sessions specifically of interest to agents and brokers who market and sell Medigap products," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the conference and the national insurance trade group.   "Agents will be able to watch sessions free of charge on any computer or tablet with Internet access."

Slome anticipates that a virtual conference broadcast will reach thousands of insurance agents and financial professionals who would never attend the actual event.   "Agents like the fact they can view live streaming video of the speakers and their presentations," he adds.  "This is the perfect opportunity for sponsoring organizations to target thousands of agents to create exposure and build marketplace presence."  The Association will seek four sponsors to underwrite the cost of the live streaming.  

The conference broadcast is handled by Virtual Insurance Conferences & Expos (www.insuranceexpos.com).  The Los Angeles-based company specializes in broadcasting sessions from national insurance events and most recently broadcast sessions from the National Long Term Care Sales Summit held this May in Kansas City.  Over 2,100 insurance agents registered and watched sessions over the three day conference.
