Now that inequality has become the key issue of our times, the Suicide Party Film Project O, which deals with this issue, has been attracting top crew with a multi-million-dollar track record. Though it's a low budget film, the latest crew member to join is Associate Director, Joe Charbanic, who has created music videos for celebrity artists, including Mary J. Blige, Ice Cube, Harry Connick Jr., Amy Grant, and Keanu Reeve's band Dogstar, and directed the blockbuster The Watcher starring: James Spader, Keanu Reeves, and Marisa Tomei, which was #1 at the box office for two weeks and grossed $47.3 million.

The basic story, dealing with inequality and economic suicide, tells the story of a man about to lose his house, who feels desperate and decides to throw on a suicide party with the help of friends, who are struggling, too. If he raises enough, he'll live; if not he'll end it all. The controversial plan to hold the party leads to a media frenzy and unexpected results, as individuals and organizations respond based on how they view the issues raised in the film. http://www.suicidepartyfilm.com). The film is being shot using a found footage and told by the man's best friend.

The film producers, led by Changemakers Productions, are using a unique approach to raise money for the film's $35,000 budget. One campaign is geared for investors who will share in the proceeds with the producers is at http://suicideparty.dearskyyler.com So far this campaign has raised $20,000. The other campaign is a crowdfunding campaign to raise the rest, with anything over going to further market and promote the film, as well as fund two other takes on the story including a dark comedy to be filmed in L.A. and a docudrama to be filmed in San Francisco. Contributions range from $5 to $5000, with all kinds of perks for contributors, including parties, premiers, and dinners with the lead actors and director. This campaign is at www.gofundme.com/suicide-party and has just been launched.

The Suicide Party: Project O is being filmed in early March, and the leads are two well known lead actors Glynn Praesel as the once successful businessman about to lose his home and Tom Malloy as his best friend. Together the director and actors have made over 30 feature films.
