Sept. 27, 2013--Renown Martial Arts Grandmasters/Pioneers to teach at Gospel Martial Arts Union Dallas Conference set for Oct. 5th Lunchtime Topic: "Is Jesus Still Relevant Today?"

The Dallas conference will feature Grandmaster Richard Morris, Master Stephen Starnes, Grandmaster Keith D. Yates and Doctor Michael Burer.

The day starts off at 9:30 AM with devotions by Grandmaster Keith D. Yates, the GMAU Chairman. The Gospel Martial Arts Union is a non-profit organization headquartered in Indianapolis, IN. It was started over 25 years ago by two pastors who were martial arts instructors. It currently has a board of governors consisting of academics and high ranking martial artists who oversee this international ministry.

GM Morris is a 10th degree black belt and decorated Ft. Worth police Detective. He has served on the Ft. Worth police force for 30 years and has taught defensive tactics to police and civilian audiences. His morning session will be on street defense, specifically knife attacks. He was recently featured on the cover of the Police & Law Enforcement issue of Official Karate Magazine with an article inside at www.officialkaratemag.com

Master Stephen Starnes, a 7th degree black belt will teach an afternoon Session on sparring strategies. Master Starnes is a tournament champion with his own stable of champion fighters and devoted students that he trains at his North Texas Karate Academy.

The lunchtime speaker will be Dallas Theological Seminary New Testament Professor, Dr. Michael Burer. Dr. Burer is also a visiting professor at Faculté Libre de Théologie Évangélique in Vaux-sur-Seine, France. His lunchtime topic will be "Is Jesus Still Relevant Today?"

This conference is an affordable way to train with experienced professional GM/master martial arts instructors and to fellowship with like-minded martial artists.
