Right to Read Ingredients in Food
Right to Read Ingredients in Food

We are being given the opportunity to learn to read in Prop 37.  Genetically Modified Organizms or GMOs are not being divulged in food labelling.  Californians have brought the issue up for a vote on November 6th....many parents, doctors, cooks, patients, teachers are requesting clear and effective labels that tell consumers what is in their food.

Our diets are harder and harder to control in the U.S. as packaged food and restaurant resellers do not inform us that chemical engineering has touched many of our foodstuffs and this is a big deal.

Food ingredients meant to assist in the food science of bringing more complex foods to the marketplace and helping it to last longer on the shelf or to look appealing or to be inexpensive for the reseller and processor to produce to offer at a good price are altering what we think we are eating and labeling is the only way that a person who is allergic to such chemical DNA alterations or someone who wants to eat more naturally for personal or health reasons does not have a choice with today's market rules.

Consider the California list of propositions and look into this important issue for yourself and your family.

It is safer to label these foods for everyone's body responds differently to different foods.  The issue is choice.  If foods are not labelled effectively, we are being left at risk, buying foods that are not what we think they are and which carry a legacy that is as yet unknown.  Use this press release to do your own research on Prop 37.
