NorCal Chapter of Business Marketing Association (BMA) Unveils Spring Programs

Evening Programs Include Outstanding Lineup of B2B Marketing Executives

The Northern California Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (NorCal BMA) today announced the spring 2012 speakers in its ongoing evening program series.

On May 23, Mark Wilson, Senior VP of Corporate and Field Marketing for Sybase (an SAP company), will speak on Optimizing the Mobile Marketing Mix: Lessons from Sybase/SAP. His presentation will share critical insights on why mobile is a critical marketing tactic, where it fits with other tactics in a company's marketing mix, examples of specific mobile marketing tactics, and the quantitative and qualitative results realized by Sybase, an SAP Company that delivers mission-critical enterprise software to manage, analyze and mobilize information.

BMA Evening Event Series are hosted on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 5:30-8pm by EMC's Women's Leadership Forum, at the EMC facility at 2831 Mission College Boulevard, Santa Clara, CA.

Pricing is $10 for BMA members, $25 for BMA partners and $35 for non-members. Seats are still available, but registration in advance is recommended at www.norcalbma.org . An additional fee is charged at the door for walk-ins.

Future speakers in the series will include:

• June 27th: Second Annual Wharton Perspective (to be held at Wharton West in San Francisco)

• July 25th: Geoffrey Moore, Venture Partner, Mohr Davidow Ventures

• August 22th: Steve Hoffman: Director, Worldwide Marketing, Hewlett-Packard

In addition to the evening program series, NorCal BMA hosts monthly Silicon Valley-based roundtable events in focused on Branding, eMarketing, Marketing Strategy, Product Marketing/Management, Public Relations and Sales Leads, as well as a general marketing roundtable held in San Francisco.
