Three hundred of the nation's leading Medicare supplement insurance industry leaders and experts will gather next month in Miami at the industry's fifth national conference. According to Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association Medicare Supplement Insurance and the conference organizer the three-day event will focus on issues and trends facing the industry.

"With 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 every day, the industry is growing and the interest in supplemental Medicare insurance products is higher than ever," Slome explains. "Attendees want to know the latest developments related to health care reform as well as management of this product available to those Americans who qualify for Medicare."

The national conference takes place May 16-18, 2012 at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Miami, FL. "The biggest change impacting the industry is technological innovations," explains Jeff Cline, president of 1-800-MEDIGAP, a leading distributor of supplemental Medicare insurance products. "Like so many other industries, the Medigap market has moved online and that holds ramifications for all in the industry."
