Lifesaving Resources, LLC announces its 2012 schedule of Ice Rescue training programs, to be conducted in Harrisville, New Hampshire, for Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement personnel.
These intensive 9-hour courses include 4 hours of classroom sessions, and 5-hours of on/through-the-ice practical sessions.
Course dates are January 21, February 4, and March 3. To date, Public Safety and Rescue personnel have been trained in these courses from throughout the United States, as well as Canada, Greece, and Norway.
Course curriculums meet and exceed NFPA 1670 Standard for Technical Rescue and are designed to provide First Responders with the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively respond to incidents on and through the ice.
Lifesaving Resources, LLC is dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. The company develops Water and Ice Rescue training programs, and conducts this training throughout North America for the Public Safety and Rescue, as well as the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation Sectors.
In addition to these programs, Lifesaving Resources has trained and authorized over 300 instructors in Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement agencies from throughout the U.S. and Canada. These instructors will also be conducting courses on behalf of their own departments, in cooperation with Lifesaving Resources.
Lifesaving Resources will also be conducting an annual International Ice Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy, February 16 - 19, in Keene, New Hampshire. Graduates will then be authorized to conduct Ice Rescue courses on behalf of their own departments.
