On June 3rd, unless something is done to dissuade government authorities from it, Tom Drake will be charged under the 1917 Espionage Act for exposing gross governmental incompetence, mismanagement, massive needless spending in the billions, and crimes as a "whistle blower." His conviction on these spurious charges could have dire consequences for the future of such public disclosures of wrongdoing in government as well as the private sector and send Drake to prison.
