Telomere Research confirms Definition of Health.
By Dr. Hans J. Kugler, PhD, President, HK Stem Cell Research
How could we tell if our lifestyle aged us prematurely, or slowed down the aging process, if we have no standards to compare data to?
How can we tell if – one way or another – any specific action, nutrient, or environmental factor really affected our aging process, our rate of aging?
For scientific clarity, let us now define "health" as "best health," and being synonymous with optimum fitness and sexual capacity, least rate of cognitive decline, best immune functions, and least rate of aging.
Telomeres – elongations of repeating subunits at the end of DNA molecules that shorten with age – have recently been established as true indicators of aging.
With a precise definition of health, we can now check any long-term action (or nutrient, stress, environmental factor, anything) on telomere length and arrive at answers. Life span extended, prematurely aged? Now we can tell.
The above topic will be presented by Dr. Hans J. Kugler at the upcoming Medical Congress of A4M in Orlando, Florida, on April 7, 10:00 AM at the Marriott World Center Resort. But there is much more; the Congress, with hundreds of exhibitors and lectures, all focusing on anti-aging, optimum health, and functional and preventative medicine is held April 7 – 9th, and YOU can attend.
