Never before has there been a personal development movie quite like "The Keeper of the Keys."

The Las Vegas Convention Speakers Bureau is issuing a "CASTING CALL" for professional speakers and experts who are interested in being featured in the bureau's new movie - a hybrid of motivation, drama, and humor. This unique personal development movie, starring Jack Canfield and Marci Shimoff, two stand-out speakers from the movie "The Secret," is going to be unlike any other movie of the self-help genre.

There are just a few spots available for the most qualified experts who can speak on the Universal Laws … or "Keys" to living a better life, enjoying greater success, and attaining happiness.

LVCSB president Robin Jay, who has published three editions of the bureau's bestselling speaker anthology series, "The Power of the Platform," said that she is eager to produce a movie now that people can easily download them to their digital devices to watch wherever they are. "Books will always be popular, but as the world moves faster, movies are going to be the medium that most people will turn to for their information and entertainment. My goal is to create a movie that will break the mold that was created with the blockbuster success of "The Secret."

Jay said, "'The Secret' brought the field of personal development, or self-help, into the home. Many people were unaware that this entire industry even existed. It was extremely well produced and gained worldwide attention, including appearances for its experts on Oprah, CNN, and other international media outlets. But," she continued, "ever since the success of 'The Secret,' personal development movie producers have created movies that lack imagination. Most movies of this genre simply copy the format that worked for 'The Secret'; they are little more than a series of 'talking heads' – experts sharing their insights and opinions. Some are offered with a slight story line to keep the momentum going but, overall, they are dull and hard to watch."

Jay's answer is to create a movie with a compelling, dramatic, even humorous story line that will feature a fictional character who is at the end of his rope. Throughout the movie, the character will be able to interact with a few, chosen experts who will help him to get his life together.

"My goal for this unique production," said Jay, "is to feature the experts and have them share their experience and wisdom while empowering the viewers by serving up the Universal Laws – or 'keys' – in such a way that they will easily be able to put them into action in their own lives. All of this will be made possible thanks to an incredibly engaging screenplay, outstanding experts, and an award-winning production crew."

Jay stated, "Professional speaking is an extremely competitive industry. For seasoned speakers, choosing to appear in a movie with well-known speakers like Jack and Marci and other top experts is the opportunity of a lifetime. Building a successful speaking career is all about marketing – and a movie like this is an extraordinary marketing and publicity tool for the right speakers.

"Being featured in a film is the VERY BEST WAY to identify yourself as an expert in your field; it affords you the opportunity to share information with more people than ever before."

"The Keeper of the Keys" will feature Jack Canfield, co-creator of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, creator of "The Success Principles," and one of the most recognized and beloved experts in "The Secret." It will also feature bestselling author and speaker Marci Shimoff, another expert who appeared in "The Secret," the movie that started it all. Several of the bureau's "Power of the Platform" coauthors will also be featured in the film.

Pre-production has already begun. Jay said she is looking forward to planning the VIP Red Carpet Premiere in Las Vegas once filming and post-production has wrapped.
