Appleton, WI based Watchco.com is pleased to announce the addition of the new Casio Edifice Black Label watches series. Casio Edifice Black Label is a sport watch collection featuring such diverse functions as solar power, atomic timekeeping, 1/1000 second chronograph, thermometer and analog/digital movements. Each model in the collection is colored solid black with some colored accents on the dials.

Casio is Japan's number three watchmaker following Seiko and Citizen, but has carved a niche for itself manufacturing high-tech sport watches. Casio's "tough solar" technology and Waveceptor atomic timekeeping has been prominently featured in Casio watches for several years. The technologies enjoy an excellent track record, but the Edifice Black Label series represents an effort to dress up the somewhat chunky and rugged looking designs that have typified Casio watches over the past few years.

The series does break some new ground technologically speaking. The 1/1000 second chronograph found in model EQWM1100DC-1A2 is enabled by Casio's LSI technology which operates five motors independently permitting unrestricted control of each function.

Casio watches enthusiasts have expressed excitement about the Black Label series because of its combination of classic race styling and advanced technologies.
