Sound Off To America announces launch of new user-driven Social Media website

Troy, Mich. Oct. 5, 2009--New social media site SoundOffToAmerica.com launched in early September, providing an open forum for users to exchange and discuss their ideas about American politics and other topics of interest or concern in the world around them. Creator Tom Wald hopes the site will encourage lively, intelligent debates about political, social and everyday-life issues. "I want it to be a place where people can go and speak freely and intelligently about the things that are important to them," Wald said. "I hope Sound Off will provide an opportunity for people to both become informed and inform others." People from around the country have already begun creating user accounts and posting their "sound offs" to the site.

Users can post on a variety of topics--American politics, the economy, sports, entertainment, the media, consumer products and everyday life. The company looks forward to observing the way different discussions play out as more and more users begin posting and dialoguing with one another.

In promoting freedom of speech as the backbone of Sound Off To America, the company hopes to become an emblem for informed public opinion throughout the country, affording users the opportunity to truly be heard about American politics and other relevant focal points of our society. Users are encouraged to pursue socially relevant topics, as a way to promote the further education of the audience. The homepage declares, "This site is NOT meant to be a public forum for rants about the latest internet gossip. The sole purpose of this site is to promote educated debate among intelligent individuals."
