World Government Turns 56!
Washington, DC
Tuesday, September 01, 2009

Following his United Nations General Assembly interruption of November 22, 1948 in Paris calling for "one government for one world" to outlaw war, former Broadway actor and WWII B-17 bomber pilot World Citizen Garry Davis-whose brother, Bud, was killed at Salerno-supported by an original group consisting of Albert Camus, L'Abbé Pierre, Robert Sarrazac, and Albert Schweitzer, (full list below*), and endorsed by Albert Einstein, declared The World Government (of World Citizens), on September 4, 1953 from the City Hall of Ellsworth, Maine.

Under the aegis of its administration agency, the World Service Authority, the WGWC has been in operation for 56 years issuing World Passports, World Citizen Cards, World Identity Cards, World Birth Certificates, World Marriage licenses, World Political Asylum certificates, International Exit Visas, and International Residence Permits besides promoting such global activities as the "World Syntegrity Project, "Mundialisation," the First World Referendum. (see www.worldservice.org)

Sanctioned by article 21 (3) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, "The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government…," and over 750,000 individuals registered as "World Citizens," since January 1, 1949, Davis was advised by US delegate Eleanor Roosevelt in her column "My Day" of December 15, 1948, to form the "international world government" himself as the UN was composed only of independent sovereign states.(http://www.scribd.com/doc/19325157/Davis-Gary)

From his South Burlington office, "World Government House," Davis, whose Writ of Certiorari of August 28, 1981 to the Supreme Court and subsequent Petition for Rehearing of December 22, 1981 were denied, (see www.worldservice.org/petition.html), is preparing a class action suit in the name of registered World Citizens against all nuclear heads of state as "war criminals" on the basis of the Nuremberg Principles for submission to the International Criminal Court.
