METHODS FOR MANAGEMENT hosted a Member Appreciation Breakfast on June 20th, 2009 at the Hilton Riverside in downtown New Orleans during the Clean Show convention. The event consisted of a two-part program facilitated by Managing Director, Diana Vollmer. MfM invited a panel consisting of three automation equipment suppliers, and two MfM Members who have experience with automation systems to present their theoretical and practical perspectives. Their presentations were followed by an open discussion and Q&A with all attendees. The panel included:

Sasha Ablitt - Ablitt's Cleaners (Santa Barbara)

The automation panel was followed by Diana Vollmer's Clean Show Product Review, the result of her and the Director of Client Services for MfM, Marta Shaffer's reviewing every company on the floor that featured products or services relevant to the dry cleaning industry, and analyzing their refinements and new product introductions. MfM also provided a show highlights list for attendees which included booth numbers and product updates. The attendees represented dry cleaners from states across the US, and three countries worldwide.

METHODS FOR MANAGEMENT serves privately owned businesses through independent consulting relationships as well as coordinating and facilitating Management Bureaus. MfM Management Bureaus provide a safe, non-competitive environment where members are comfortable sharing information, issues, and concerns with peers that they trust and respect.
