A recent survey conducted by the Health Back Institute shows that after two months of following its ?Muscle Balance Therapy
? self-treatment protocol four-fifths of back pain
sufferers reduced their pain intensity by at least half.
?We polled 2,129 participants and are proud that the resulting numbers indicate -- when it comes to teaching people how to reduce their back pain
-- we are on the right track,? says back pain
specialist Jesse Cannone, co-founder of The Healthy Back Institute.
Of those polled, 59 percent had suffered from back pain
one year or longer, while 41 percent had suffered three to 10 years, Cannone said.
Before getting last relief using the Healthy Back Institute's ?Muscle Balance Therapy
,? these individuals, as revealed in a separate survery, had undergone the following treatments without success: anti-inflammatory medications
-- 1,490 - or 69.98 percent; physical therapy
- 1,249 -- 58.69 percent; Chiropractic Care
-- 1168 -- 54.87 percent.
?Here are some numbers that are particularly gratifying,? Cannone said. ?At first, 66 percent rated their pain between a seven and a 10. After only eight weeks of Muscle Balance Therapy
, 88 percent of these same persons rated their pain between a zero and a four.?
?Our survey backs up what many of our clients have been telling us,? he said. ?Let me provide some remarks from those we have helped.?
Robin Nappi wrote to the Health Back Institute: ?I did the assessments and found that I needed the exercises for pelvis tipped forward, right hip high and for sciatica
. My leg pain started to improve within a week -- in fact, so much so that I could cut back on the pills within a few days and stopped taking them all together within another week. My improvement steadily continued within the next few weeks. I am now pretty much pain-free for the first time in more than five years. I really wish I had found your program five years ago. It may have saved me several thousands of dollars and years of pain. However, at this point, I can only be glad to have found it when I did.?
Steven Munk had this to say: "I am a 62 year-old guy in fine general health. Since March of 2004, I have had symptoms that I can only compare to having been kicked in the behind by a mule. That pain in the butt then took off toward my ankle and made standing or walking a living torture. I started with chiropractic, then orthopedic surgeons, then physical therapists, then massage therapy, more orthopods, anti-inflamatories, and lost all hope for ever recovering. Then, I watched your DVD, read the manual, and determined my course of action (still skeptical, of course). Two weeks later, I thought I was feeling a little better. One month later, my pain had decreased by 50 percent. It is now just over two months into the program, and I can honestly -- and amazingly -- say that I am 98 percent pain-free. . . . Why no certified practitioner had been able to diagnose and isolate the problem - and [prescribe a] cure, I will never know. You guys should be teaching courses in med school"
More and more health professionals are coming to realize how effective this approach can be.
?I use the Healthy Back Institute because they offer real solutions that work,? wrote Al Sears, M.D. ?I've worked with thousands of patients and with back problems. I used to refer more to orthopedic surgeons Now, I have a better option. As a strength coach and personal trainer, I've tried and reviewed dozens of back pain
programs. The Healthy Back Institute gets to the root of the problem. They're on to an important core idea, and it works. And I like to see them empower the reader to relieve their pain without drugs or doctors' visits.?
?I've seen in my own clinical practice tens of thousands of patients with back pain
, which can exact a heavy toll in missed work, medical expenses, not to mention considerable pain and suffering,? wrote Dr. Joseph Mercola. ?That's why I was glad to see that the Lose the back pain
System focuses on finding the underlying conditions that cause the pain -- and then works towards helping you improve and correct them. This system emphasizes losing the pain for good, not just covering it up temporarily with a couple of pills or other insufficient (and less-than-healthy) measures. One of the most significant pain-producing factors they've identified at the Healthy Back Institute is the little-recognized imbalance of the muscles around your spine. Obviously, not everyone has the same muscle dysfunction, so identifying your own specific individual muscle imbalances
is a crucial element of solving the back pain
?As a nurse manager on a busy orthopedic floor of a community hospital in New York, I am often caring for the very people you have set out to help,? wrote registered nurse Melinda Klein. ?Men and women of all ages suffer tremendously with back pain
. In my professional setting they are usually hospitalized secondary to the need for better pain control via intravenous narcotic pain relievers or surgery. In reviewing the 'Lose the back pain'
materials, I am left with an amazing sense of hope for these patients. Such an easy concept: fix the underlying problem, and get permanent relief. I am looking forward to referring my back pain
patients to your Web site so they may evaluate the concept and hopefully experience the same optimism I had after being introduced to the program"
"It's been two weeks since I began using your system,? wrote Jim Piper from Ohio. ?I have reduced the pain in my hip and leg by about 75 percent. Before I started it was just getting worse day by day. That has stopped and is now going the other way. Four months of chronic back pain
[have been] reduced by 75 percent in two weeks.?
