Worried about that spicy dream you or your mate had about someone else? There's no cause for alarm. Simply learn what these midnight messages are trying to tell you and let these lusty dreams be learning tools!

"All these dreams - even the adultery dreams - serve a purpose; they offer direction, advice, and sometimes even warnings," says Lauri Quinn Loewenberg, renowned dream analyst and author of Cracking The Dream Code and So, What Did You Dream Last Night?

Here Loewenberg shares the three most common type of adultery dreams and how having them can turn up the heat in your relationship.

Adultery Dream #1 - Your Mate is Cheating

Maybe you feel s/he has taken on a behavior or attitude that is detracting from your relationship, such as spending too much time at work or on the Wii. The subconscious mind feels "betrayed" and responds with an affair dream in order to get your attention so you can deal with the matter at hand. Fan the Flames by confronting your mate about the core issue. Discuss what is bothering you and talk about ways to compromise or resolve the problem.

Adultery Dream #2 - Sex With an Ex

The ex we all dream about the most is usually our first love. Even decades down the road he or she will make an appearance in our dreams... and these appearances are often X rated! Sex with the ex dreams rarely mean you yearn for that person but rather what that person represents: excitement, passion and always wanting to be together. These dreams happen when your current relationship gets a little too hum drum and routine. Take them as a wake up call from your subconscious to shake things up a bit. Maybe it's time to take yourself on a shopping trip to Victoria's Secret, break out a Tony Bennett CD and get in touch with your spontaneous side!

Adultery Dream #3 - Sex With the Same Gender

These are the dreams that can trouble us the most. But again, dreams are never what they seem and rather than suggesting that deep down you wish to swing for your own team, these dreams mean you are feeling very proud of your own gender. Men will get this one when they get a raise for example and women will get it when pregnant. If you are getting this one, fan the flames by doing something that will help your mate appreciate your gender as well. Ladies can dress in a way that will accentuate her curves. Guys should unbutton those top two buttons to reveal that sexy tuft of chest hair. Do something that says to your mate, "I am man/woman, hear me roar... then come and get me!"

Pay attention to what these strange little scenarios are trying to show you and you'll be amazed at the way your love life starts to sizzle this Valentine's Day!
