In Honor of the Children We've Lost - Something Simple YOU Can Do to Protect Your Family

Sunday, May 25th is National Missing Children's Day, a somber reminder of the precious lives which have been snatched from this nation. Polly Franks, Executive Director of the Franks Foundation, is calling on America's parents to take one simple but important step to protect their families: CHECK YOUR LOCAL SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY. "It's no accident that this day falls midway between Mother's Day and Father's Day. Most parents would die to protect their children. I'm simply asking them to take a few minutes out of their busy lives and find out if there are any convicted sexual predators living close by," says Franks. It's a small but potentially life-saving step.

The Franks Foundation recommends that parents log onto the Family WatchDog website at www.familywatchdog.us. "It takes less than five minutes and will not cost you a dime," Franks says, adding,"Aren't your children worth the effort?"
