As part of an innovative consumer education campaign designed to create heightened awareness and understanding of Medicare protection products, Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI) appeared on a nationally broadcast television program.
"Medicare Open Enrollment always results in enormous interest among Medicare eligibles," declares Jesse Slome, executive director of AAMSI, a trade group. "I was pleased to participate as a guest in this exciting and beneficial program."
Two, one-hour programs broadcast by HSN focused on Medicare planning options. The segments were made possible by Aetna and offered viewers the opportunity to obtain a no-cost package of information provided by the leading insurance company.
Slome also contributed to the segment by developing content for a guide focused on Medicare Supplement insurance. "The informational guide along with the other material offered to viewers will be a real help to those seeking to understand how Medigap works," Slome explains.
The two broadcasts emanated from HSN's broadcast facilities in St. Petersburg, Florida aired on Saturday, November 7. "What innovative thinking to connect with the millions of individuals who watch this format of programming," Slome adds.
