A significant milestone was achieved today reports Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
"I am proud to report that the 5,000 insurance professional has joined our managed discussion group," declares Jesse Slome, executive director of American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance, a trade group. "Clearly this is an indication of the increased interest among insurance agents and financial professionals who are interested and focused on Medigap products."
Slome who manages the online discussion group notes that this is the only forum exclusively focused on Medicare Supplement issues. "There is so much clutter and self-promotion online that we really work hard to prohibit and avoid," Slome explains. "I believe that is one reason why the group continues to grow."
To find the Association's various Linkedin discussion groups, you must have a personal Linkedin profile. Then search under groups for the type of industry and the term Producers. "To join the Medigap group, you'll want to find the Medicare Supplement Insurance Producers group and request joining.
Recognized as one of the nation's leading insurance executives, Slome founded and directs national insurance trade groups including the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance, the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance and the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care.
"Each organization has a special Linkedin group devoted exclusively to the singular subject matter," Slome notes. "That is ideal for insurance agents who want to connect with fellow experts, pose questions or start discussions with their peers or leading industry experts." The national organizations are headquartered in Westlake Village, CA.
The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance (www.aaltci.org) is the national trade organization focused on educating individuals about the importance of planning for the risk of long term care. The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (www.medicaresupp.org( focuses on Medigap industry issues and helps link consumers with Medicare Supplement agents. The National Advisory Center for Short Term Care was established in 2015 to build awareness for the important role short term care insurance plays in protecting seniors.
