Dear Family & Friends,

Our world as we know it, is at great & increasing risk. Not just Nukes from Iran but, huge quantities of conventional weapons & lesser-than-Nuke WMDs – like chemical & biological. The warnings are all out-of-the-closet & in-the-open…Nothing is secret.

Our whole world, our Jewish world, our Israeli world, for olim like my family – our ‘old-country’s world. We don’t even have to look closely to see it spinning out of control. We don’t have to be paranoid to know we really do have enemies & they don’t like us. (Heck!) They hate us. They say they will annihilate us. They hate our freedoms, our courage, our strengths, our Start-Up Nation who just went back to school today, our moral center from our Torah & our faith in the Land of Israel, the people of Israel & the Torah of Israel.

We will soon enter the warmth & palpable protection of Rosh HaShana & the wonderful month of our High Holy Days. The vote for or against our future in this coming years & years to follow is being considered deeply now. The earthly vote up or down of the Very Bad Deal for Iran to receive $150 Billion dollars for their conventional weapons & Very Bad Behavior as the world’s biggest sponsor of Terror, globally, plus the paved road for Nukes whenever they are ready will be held very soon, just around the time of Rosh HaShana.

As Arlene Kushner says: DON’T STOP! your extreme efforts to teach the world to reject this Very Bad Deal. Keep fighting against it, even though you may be preparing for Rosh HaShana company.

Have a warm night with the full moon, a great day.

All the very best, Gail/Geula/Savta/Savta Raba x 2/Mom

[27 Nov 2007

[Gail Sez: On November 27, the United States hosted Israeli Prime Minister Olmert, Palestinian Authority President Abbas, along with key international actors for a conference at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. That conference established the concept of a “two-state solution” as the Final Solution to the Jewish Question in so-called ‘palestine’ or ‘falestin’ as the Arabs called it. The “Road Map” & the “Quartet’ were part of the Conference, the Scene & History was made – in a bad way – for Israel & the Jewish People.]

Post Annapolis, the Palestinian Authority made it crystal clear that it will never recognize Israel as a “Jewish state”. Furthermore, it made it crystal clear that it will not compromise on Jerusalem, making it a capital offense to do so.

Do not think for a moment that these entrenched Arab positions are negotiable. They aren’t and never have been.

Ever since Theodor Herzl wrote The Jewish State in 1896, the Arabs, with one exception, Faisal ibn Hussein, have opposed it.

Historian Bat Ye’or wrote in her monumental study, The Dhimmi, In the historical Arab context, Israel represents the successful national liberation of a dhimmi civilization. On a territory formerly Arabized by the jihad and the dhimma, a pre-Islamic language, culture, topographical geography (biblical towns), and national institutions have been restored to life. This reversed the process of centuries in which the cultural, social and political structures of the indigenous Jewish population of Palestine were destroyed. In 1974, Abu Iyad, second-in-command to Arafat in the Fatah hierarchy, announced: “We intend to struggle so that our Palestinian homeland does not become a new Andalusia.” The comparison of Andalusia to Palestine was not fortuitous since both countries were Arabized, and then de-Arabized by a pre-Arabic culture.”

Once a region has been conquered for Islam, it is always Islamic and must be re-conquered from the infidel, regardless of the passage of time.

This is the core of the conflict. Palestine “must be re-conquered from the infidel, regardless of the passage of time”. Thus Israel must be destroyed.

In pursuance of this goal, the Arabs rejected the Partition Plan and the creation of Israel, they went to war numerous times to destroy Israel, they rejected Res 242 and shortly thereafter they decided at the Khartoum Conference to have “no recognition, no negotiations, no peace” with Israel.

In 1964, the Arab states founded the PLO with a Charter that specifically calls for “the liquidation of the Zionist presence.”

Shortly thereafter, the PLO was taken over by Arafat’s Nazi trained Fatah, whose Charter was and is similar. Its goals:

Article (12) Complete liberation of Palestine, and eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural existence.

Article (13) Establishing an independent democratic state with complete sovereignty on all Palestinian lands, and Jerusalem is its capital city, and protecting the citizens’ legal and equal rights without any racial or religious discrimination.

Nothing could be clearer. It refers to “all Palestinian lands” and was written before the so-called “occupation” in ’67.

Then in 1975 with Soviet support the UN General Assembly passed the infamous resolution (3379), “Zionism is Racism”, by a vote of 75 to 32 with 35 abstentions with the operative words:

“Zionism is a form of racism and racial discriminaion.”

Chaim Herzog, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, at the time made one of the great speeches of the

Twentieth Century arguing “Zionism is Not Racism”.

Though the US, led by the late Ambassador Patrick Moynihan, vehemently objected also, a month later it did not veto a proposal to seat the PLO as observers in the UN Security Council. No non-state had ever been accorded such recognition.

According to the website Anti-Zionism,

The Cold War Soviet Union doctrine of Zionology was sponsored by the Department of propaganda of the Communist Party and by the KGB. It stated that Zionism was a form of Racism and Similar to Nazism. As communism was against Racism, and Zionism was largely formed under strong leftist and socialist influences this presented some difficulties for the Soviet Union. They solved this by misrepresenting Zionism, and focussing on its links with America. Much anti-Zionist propaganda was produced by the Soviet Union, much of it was antisemitic and in cases Nazi propaganda and old Tsarist antisemitic material was reproduced. The UN also started producing anti-Zionist propaganda. Using resolution 3379 as a moral basis, UN educational publications spread anti-Zionist dogma throughout the world.

In 1991, with the fall of the Soviet Union, the UN General Assembly revoked resolution 3379, admitting it had been mistaken to label Zionism as racism. The motion to revoke 3379 (General Assembly Resolution 4686) is one of the shortest in history and passed with 111 for and only 25 against.

Nevertheless, this odious charge persists like the infamous Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

In the negotiations prior to the Oslo Accords in 1993, the Fatah Charter became an obstacle. Arafat agreed to amend it. This was a precondition. Yet no such amendment was effected necessitating this letter from Arafat to President Clinton in 1998:

In the mutual recognition letters between myself and the late Prime Minister Itzhaq Rabbin of September 9/10, 1993, the PLO committed to recognize the right of the State of Israel to exist in peace and security, to accept UN Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338 and to a peaceful resolution of the conflict between the two sides. The PLO also agreed to secure the necessary changes in the Palestinian Covenant to reflect these commitments.Accordingly, the P.N.C. was held in Gaza city between 22-25 of April 1996, and in an extraordinary session decided that the “Palestine National Charter is hereby amended by cancelling the articles that are contrary to the letters exchanged between the P.L.O and the Government of Israel on 9/10 September 1993”.

Yet the Charter is still not amended.

Daniel Pearl penned an essay, Anti-Zionism is Racism in which he wrote, “anti-Zionism is a form of racism more dangerous than classical anti-Semitism”. Could be.
More recently Judea Pearl, father of Daniel Pearl, penned an essay, Anti-Zionism is Racism in which he wrote, “anti-Zionism is a form of racism more dangerous than classical anti-Semitism”. Could be.

Just prior to 9/11 the U.N. hosted a World Conference Against Racism at Durban. It became a hatefest of anti-Zionism as was intended. “Zionism is racism” was actively promoted to deligitimate Israel. Durban II in 2009 was just as bad.

In the run up to Annapolis, House Republican Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) introduced H.Res.758 jointly with Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-NV). This resolution called on PA and Mahmoud Abbas, also chairman of his Fatah Party, to officially renounce ten articles in the Fatah Constitution that call for

Israel’s destruction and acts of terrorism against the Jews.

The Council of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations issued a statement to the effect that if Abbas is serious about making peace with Israel, he must officially and publicly amend the Fatah charter as a “confidence-building measure which would help to create a better environment to achieve progress in the peace talks.”

While AIPAC supported the Blunt resolution, it also supported increasing aid to the PA without regard to the Charter.

The Donor’s Conference in Paris pledged $7.4 billion to the PA for the next three years. No one demanded that the Charter be amended, that terror stop or that there be accountability for the funds.

And then Fatah began the game of reconciliation with Hamas.

The Hamas Charter is virulently anti-Semitic and uncompromising in its goal of ridding Palestine of the Jews. It declares that:

“all Palestine is Islamic trust land, can never be surrendered to non-Muslims and is an integral part of Muslim world.”

“[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For

denouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion;”

Ismail Haniyeh, speaking for Hamas, has said, “We will never recognize the usurper Zionist government and will continue our jihad-like movement until the liberation of Jerusalem,”

Everyone is determined to ignore this, or worse, to live with it.

But the bottom line is that the Arabs want Palestine to replace Israel. This goal is reiterated by all boycott movements, by the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and Muslim Student Association (MSA), by Iran when it calls for Israel to be “wiped off the map”, by the PA which publishes books with maps showing Palestine in place of Israel, by Hamas and by many UN agencies and NGO’s.

And they are not alone. The idea of a Jewish state is considered by the Jewish left as an anachronism, retrograde and even racist. Pipes commented on this in Zionism’s Bleak Future.

In my article Jewish Israel is the key to its survival, not its end I reviewed the liberal/left opposition and argued: One of the icons of the left is affirmative action which obviously denies equality. Affirmative action is seen as making up for years of discrimination and therefore worthy. If anyone or people are entitled to affirmative action, the Jews are. I look upon the Balfour Declaration as an act of affirmative action and the recognition of the State of Israel, after the Holocaust, as another act of affirmative action. In fact, the rationale for the creation of the Israel was the need to create a refuge for Jews in recognition of two thousand years of discrimination. Jews are entitled to this assistance or favouritism or protection whatever you may call it. We paid for it in blood.

The endorsement of the two-state solution is a sham for western consumption. The demand for a “just solution to the Palestinian ‘Refugee’ problem to be agreed upon in accordance with UN General Assembly Resolution 194”, otherwise known as the so-called “right of return”, vitiates any recognition of the two-state solution because it effectively is intended to destroy the state of Israel.

2.Pro-Iran Deal Resolution Shot Down in Democratic Natl. Com.

While President Obama tries to sell his Iran deal to the American people, he is having trouble selling it to members of his own party. By Yaakov Levi First Publish: 8/31/2015, 1:12 AM

3 Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz – Reuters

While President Barack H. Obama tries to sell his Iran deal to the American people, he is having some trouble selling it to members of his own party. In what political pundits termed an “embarrassment” for the president, a resolution supporting the deal was suppressed over the weekend at the summer meeting of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

The resolution was halted by none other than the chairperson of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, normally a strong supporter of Obama’s policies. The intent of the resolution had been to express official DNC support for the Iran deal. A party spokesperson said that the failure of the resolution to be brought up for a vote was due not to politics, but to “procedural issues.”

As a fallback, the chairman of the Resolution Committee, James Zogby – the well-known Arab lobbyist and head of the Arab American Institute – drafted a letter declaring the DNC’s support for the Iran deal. Zogby said that as far as he was concerned, this was an acceptable substitute.

“We found that the best way to show support was a letter that members would sign on to, and the overwhelming majority of DNC members signed onto the letter,” the Post quoted Zogby as saying. “This is the President Obama we elected in 2008 who said, ‘I choose diplomacy over conflict,’ and he did it.”

Wasserman Schultz, whose Florida district has a large Jewish population, has not announced whether or not she herself supports the deal.

3.Half of American Jews Support the Iran Deal. Why? By Dennis Prager, NRO

The more one knows about the Iran Deal, the more obvious it becomes that it is not a deal so much as it is a fraud. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of a fraud is “something that is meant to look like the real thing in order to trick people.” That precisely describes the Iran Deal. Virtually every claim made for it is either not true or insignificant.

· There are no “anytime, anywhere” inspections, as Americans were promised during the negotiations.

No American or Canadian inspectors will be allowed into Iran.

The agreement obligates all the parties, including the United States, to help Iran protect its nuclear facilities against an attack, whether physical or cyber.

· Any area of Iran that the Iranian regime designates “military” cannot be inspected.

· Iran can object to any inspection and delay it at least 24 days, and, according to the Wall Street Journal, up to three months.

· The deal will free a $hundred fifty billion dollars and eventually much more for the Iranian regime to use to bolster Iran’s economy and to supply terror groups around the world.

In light of these weaknesses, any one of which renders the deal fraudulent, how could anyone who cares about America, not to mention Israel, support it?

And it gets worse: There are two secret side deals to the agreement made between Iran and the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). They are not just kept secret from you and me. They are kept secret from the president, the secretary of state (who admitted to Congress that he has not seen them), and the Congress of the United States.

How then could any member of Congress vote to affirm an agreement with Iran, crucial parts of which they cannot even know about? Why do those secrets between Iran and the United Nations simply not invalidate this agreement?

But I wish to focus on American Jews. How is it, in light of the above and in light of Iran’s stated aim of annihilating Israel, that so many American Jews — despite the opposition of so many national Jewish groups and even of the Jewish Federations of liberal cities such Boston and Los Angeles — support this deal?

The question is legitimate for four reasons:

First, and most obvious, Israel is the one Jewish state, and one would assume that American Jews have a moral and emotional commitment to Israel’s welfare, not to mention survival.

Second, according to various polls, American Jews may be the ethnic or religious group most supportive of the deal. How is that possible?

Third, the vast majority of Israeli Jews oppose the deal. According to Israel’s major left-wing newspaper, Haaretz, only one in ten Israelis support the deal. Yet, at least 50 percent of American Jews support it. Why the five-to-one discrepancy?

Fourth, even most left-wing Israelis oppose the deal. As Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic reported: “The Iran deal represents one of those rare issues that has unified Israelis of most political parties.” That includes the opposition leader, the head of the Labor Party, Isaac Herzog. Goldberg writes: “‘Iran,’ Herzog told me, has Israelis — of the ‘left, center, and right,’ he said — ‘frightened.’”

So, then, in light of the deal’s terrible defects, in light of the specific concerns of Jews, and in light of the nearly universal opposition to the deal among Israeli Jews, why do half of America’s Jews support it?

One answer, given by many American Jewish supporters of the deal, is that they back the deal precisely because they do care about Israel. And when American Jews with a record of strong support of Israel say this, I believe them.

But I do have a question: If the deal is good for Israel, why do only one in ten Israelis support it? How can Jews living in Los Angeles or New York tell 90 percent of Israelis that they know better what’s good for Israel? That’s what Jews call chutzpah.

As for American Jews who don’t have a strong record of support of Israel, I do not believe them when they say that they believe the deal is good for Israel.

Here’s why: If a Republican president had negotiated this deal, Democrats would now be strongly opposing it — along with most Republicans. But a Republican president would never have negotiated a deal that so weakens America’s position in the Middle East and puts Israel in such peril. Also, both Republicans and Democrats would have — correctly — opposed a president of the United States negotiating what is in fact a treaty without Congress’s approval.

So why do so many American Jews support the deal? Because they 1) are loyal to President Obama 2) have an intense dislike of Israeli prime-minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and 3) have an intense dislike of Republicans.

In addition, both Jews and non-Jews often forget that Israel is no longer important to an increasing number of American Jews. Jews are the most left-wing ethnic and religious group in America — in part because Jews are more secular than others and attend college in greater numbers — and the more that people embrace a left-wing view of the world, the more hostile to Israel they are likely to become.

There are, therefore, quite a number of American Jews who support the Iran deal for reasons having nothing to do with Israel. They only care about America, they say, and the deal is good for America. One presumes that most of these people also believe that pulling all our troops out of Iraq was good for America. It wasn’t. These Jews and non-Jews believe that the answer to evil is negotiation, not confrontation. That there is no historical basis for that belief does not disturb them. These people are still singing, “Give Peace a Chance.”

So, why do many American Jews — including some supporters of Israel — back the Iran deal? For the same reason the minority of American non-Jews who support the deal do: their outlook on life has been shaped by the Left.

Half of American Jews Support the Iran Deal. Why?

4.Rabbis for Hamas, Obama and Iran by Daniel Greenfield

Posted: 30 Aug 2015 09:47 PM PDT 4

In 2008, Elliot Dorff joined Rabbis for Obama in their claim that Senator Obama would be a “leader in the fight against serious threats to Israel.”
5Dorff, a Beverly Hills based clergyman, showed a deep grasp of geopolitical issues when he claimed that because of President Bush, “now the Taliban inhabit Iraq, where they never used to be.” This would have come as news to both the Taliban and Iraq. But Rabbis for Obama kept Dorff’s testimonial up because no one there seemed to know any better or know anything except how awful Israel is.
Like many of the Rabbis for Obama, Dorff was a left-wing radical who could be counted on to sign any letter attacking Israel. In 2010, he joined the unofficially nicknamed ‘Rabbis for Hamas’ by signing a letter demanding that Israel end the blockade of the genocidal Islamic terrorist group.
Elliot Dorff had also signed an earlier letter praising the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Gaza, which led the area to be taken over by Hamas. But this was only to be expected from a member of J Street, serving on the anti-Israel group’s Rabbinic Cabinet Executive Council.
Now Elliot Dorff, who has never tired of being destructive and wrong, has signed on to yet another bad letter. After Rabbis for Obama and ‘Rabbis for Hamas’, he has signed on to ‘Rabbis for Iran’.
The letter in support of a deal that Obama admitted will give Iran zero breakout time to a nuclear bomb, is signed by many of the same Dorffs who had signed on to Rabbis for Obama and Rabbis for Hamas.
John Friedman of the Rabbinic Cabinet of the Jewish Alliance for Justice and Peace, another left-wing anti-Israel group, signed all three letters. The “Alliance”, also known as Brit Tzedek v’Shalom, called on Israel to recognize Hamas, condemned Israel for taking out the co-founder of Hamas and described Muslim terrorist massacres of Jews as “resistance”.
Friedman had even participated in the “Fast for Gaza” in support of the Hamas-ruled territory.
Five of the vice chairs of Rabbis for Obama and nearly half its members had signed an earlier “Alliance” letter urging President Bush to conduct “constructive engagement” with Hamas.
Many of the Hamas Rabbis have returned to sign the letter in support of Iran’s nuclear enrichment deal. They include Sharon Kleinbaum, another radical member of J Street’s Rabbinic Cabinet Executive Council, who faced a member revolt over her extreme anti-Israel views which included reading the names of dead Hamas terrorists alongside Israeli casualties from the pulpit.
Sharon Kleinbaum supported providing space to Queers Against Israeli Apartheid and had also participated in the Fast for Gaza.
Burton Visotzky had signed on to Rabbis for Obama, Rabbis for Hamas and Rabbis for Iran. He was the National Co-Chair of Rabbis for Obama 2012, another member of J Street’s Rabbinic Cabinet Executive Council and had worked together with ISNA.
Visotzky (along with Dorff) even joined ISNA, an organization linked to funding of Hamas, in a letter in support of Obama’s pressure on Israel. Two other signatories of that letter, Paul Menitoff and Peter Knobel, had also signed on to Rabbis for Hamas and the current Rabbis for Iran letter.
Paul Menitoff had already become infamous for his 2002 letter to Bush calling for US troops to occupy Israel and demanding full scale sanctions on the Jewish State in support of a Palestinian Muslim terror state. While leftist clergy might be against the occupation of Iraq and the Israeli blockade of Hamas, some were disturbingly enthusiastic about an American occupation of Israel.
Menitoff is a co-chair of J Street’s Rabbinic Cabinet and was one of the 2012 Rabbis for Obama.
Jill Jacobs, the executive director of T’ruah (formerly Rabbis for Human Rights), yet another establishment left-wing anti-Israel group, has signed on to the Rabbis for Iran letter as well as the Rabbis for Hamas letter. She is another co-chair of the Rabbinic Cabinet of J Street.
Jacobs insisted that Jews needed to “repent” before Muslim terrorists and whined last year that her fellow liberal clergy were afraid to attack Israel “because they get slammed by their right-wing congregants”. She has accused Jews living in Jerusalem of being “settlers” and advocates an apartheid that excludes Jews from living in those parts of the Holy City which were under Muslim occupation.
Jill Jacobs does not advocate against Muslims living in Jerusalem. Only against Jews living in Jerusalem.
Rachel Mikva, the daughter of Obama crony Abner Mikva, as one of the Rabbis for Obama claimed that, “Anyone who looks at Sen. Obama’s record will see that he has been and remains a staunch supporter of Israel.” She insisted that, “God has graced us with an exceptional candidate for the presidency”.
It’s unknown who Rachel Mikva’s god is, but it’s a safe bet that he isn’t the G-d of Israel. It’s likely that the name of Mikva’s god is Arnold Jacob Wolf, a close friend of Obama and militant enemy of Israel.
Wolf had signed the Rabbis for Hamas letter as part of a long career of advocacy against Israel. He was the co-founder of Breira, one of the establishment anti-Israel groups, and worked with Pol Pot genocide denier Noam Chomsky on another anti-Israel group. He was a Vice Chair of Rabbis for Obama and a board member of the “Alliance”. Wolf however died before he could sign the Rabbis for Iran letter.
Rachel Mikva is part of J Street’s rabbinic cabinet; she has signed letters against Israel in the past, and is front and center on the Rabbis for Iran letter.
The most infamous figure on the list though may be Chaim Seidler-Feller, who has signed the current Rabbis for Iran letter and was also a signatory of the Rabbis for Hamas letter. Seidler-Feller had also joined Norman Lear and the director of an episode of Masters of Sex in an earlier pro-deal letter.
Chaim Seidler-Feller was a founding member of the anti-Israel group Americans for Peace Now, even if he wasn’t a particularly peaceful person, engaging in angry confrontations with pro-Israel activists.
In one of the worst incidents, he violently attacked two Jewish women at UCLA, kicking and scratching one of them while trying to throw her down the stairs.
“I was saved from possible concussion by several bystanders who pulled him off me in time… He assaulted me three times in the course of several minutes, and each time I had to be rescued by helpful bystanders,” the victim described.
“I saw my rabbi take swings to Neuwirth’s face and kicks to her legs,” one eyewitness wrote.
“I am deeply sorry that I hit, kicked and scratched you,” Chaim Seidler-Feller would later write. “By taking these unprovoked actions, I have contradicted the pluralism, peace and tolerance about which I so often preach.”
But that pluralism, peace and tolerance only goes one way with the left. Toward the terrorists.
And that is what this is really about. When you read about a few hundred “Rabbis” signing a letter against Israel and for Iran, Hamas or Hezbollah, look closer and you will see the same few names.
These names are the banners of a well-funded network of anti-Israel organizations. They are united by a deep hatred for Israel and the Jewish people, by radical leftist politics and by support for terrorists.
They will put on a modicum of moderation so that their congregants don’t realize how extreme and hateful their “spiritual leaders” are, but sometimes they show what is underneath the smiles. Chaim Seidler-Feller showed his true face when he attacked two Jewish women for supporting Israel. Many of the other names on this list show their true faces when they sign letters attacking Israel.
This is who they are. This is what they are.
Now these relentless opponents of the Jewish State want us to believe that the Iran deal will be good for Israel. Just as they claimed that Obama would be good for Israel.
Under the mask, they support Iran and Hamas because they have more than a little in common with them. They are radicals who believe in destroying America and Israel, like Judith Butler, they see Islamic terrorism as a “progressive” force that is overthrowing capitalism, patriarchy and nationalism.
These left-wing activists call themselves Rabbis, just as Obama calls himself a Christian. But they all share a common faith, not in any divinity, but in revolution and the tyranny of the left. They instinctively hate people of faith, because they have none.
They hate Israel because it is a modern outpost of civilization in a sea of savagery, but also because it is a physical reminder that the Bible has a fixed meaning, that it is not just a “living constitution” into which they can read anything they like.
They hate Israel because it obstructs their exploitation of Jews as cannon fodder in leftist revolutions and because it is a living reminder of their falseness. They are willing to be Rabbis for Obama, for Hamas and for Iran. For anything and everything, but G-d and the Jewish People.

Daniel Greenfield is a New York City based writer and blogger and a Shillman Journalism Fellow of the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

5.Supporters of the Iran Nuclear Deal Should and Will Be Called Traitors 8/31/15 6:46 AM

6 Congressman Jerry Nadler in New York City. His support for the deal will earn him the title of ‘traitor,’ says Torossian

Jewish communal leader Jeff Wiesenfeld, an old friend, said this week, “We are [dividing into two groups] once again: those who stand with Stephen Wise and those who stand with the Bergson Group and the Vaad Hatzala [the Committee for Rescuing Jews in Europe from the Holocaust].”

He’s right.

A mere 70 years ago, Rabbi Stephen Wise was quiet until it was too late to help the six million Jews of Europe who perished at the hands of the Nazis.

The Bergson Group did the opposite, heroically taking a moral stand against the Nazis, through street protests, open advertisements. and other activities. This earned the Bergson Group — followers of revisionist-Zionist leader Ze’ev Jabotinsky — condemnation on the part of the American Jewish community for not being “nice.”

Today, Israel is facing an existential threat that could be just as dangerous. Israelis across the political spectrum acknowledge this.

Even Zionist Union party Knesset Member Eitan Cabel, a fierce and constant critic of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, noted the consensus in Israel on the issue of a nuclear Iran. “This time, it is definitely not a matter of Right or Left,” he said. “With all the criticism there is about how [Netanyahu] conducted the struggle against the agreement, the struggle itself is just. Against a nuclear Iran, there is no opposition or coalition. We are all Israelis.”

American Jews must take heed and stop being “nice.” Those who do not stand against Iran must suffer severe political consequences.

As The New York Observer reported on Thursday, in an email listserv chain (“that resembles a who’s who of hawkish New York Jewish thought leaders) attacking Jewish Congressman Jerry Nadler for coming out in support of the Iran deal,” Wiesenfeld wrote: “There must be sanction against conduct which Black, Hispanic, Asian and other Americans would not tolerate against THEIR interests, We are the outlying fools.”

Indeed, Nadler and others who vote for the deal will be hounded for the rest of their careers for supporting this act of treachery. One can expect to see many more editorials calling Nadler a traitor. Naturally, our ethnic group — like any other — will shun those who fail their people during a dire time of need.

On June 22, 1982, Joe Biden, at the time a senator from Delaware, confronted then-Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin during a Senate Foreign Relations committee hearing. Begin responded to one of Biden’s questions as follows:

I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them.”

Principles matter. The Obama administration has made a deal with the devil that endangers the entire Western world. Those who stand with the devil will be protested — whether or not they are Jews with “trembling knees.”

From the author: “Ronn Torossian is – sadly – a Nadler constituent. He wishes to add that as an American, Nadler should have opposed the deal, as it endangers America.”

Supporters of the Iran Nuclear Deal Should and Will Be Called Traitors

6.Arlene Kushner “Don’t Stop!” September 1, 2015

I cannot pretend it is looking good for the Congressional vote on the Iran deal. But we must continue to make every possible effort to defeat it. Congress convenes next week, on the 9th, after a summer recess, at which point debate on the issue begins. Vote will be taken no later than September 17.

Today there is a rally in New York City. If you can get there, I urge you to do so, and to bring as many people with you as possible. The roster of speakers is impressive, the need is for a large turnout:

5:30 pm at 980 Third Avenue, Manhattan. This is in front of the office of Senator Kirsten Kirsten Gillibrand.

If you are in the Washington DC area, or can get yourself to the Washington DC area, note that Senator Ted Cruz (R–TX), presidential hopeful Donald Trump and broadcaster Glen Beck will be headlining a major rally on the West Lawn of the Capitol on September 9. I do not have a time yet but will keep you informed. Sponsors include ZOA and the Center for Security Policy (Frank Gaffney).

Additional speakers are being planned and this particular event has the promise of being huge. You have advance notice – consider coming even if it means a commute, bringing family and friends with you.

This is a chance for the American people to send a message (most Americans are against the deal), and it must be a message that Members of Congress cannot ignore – delivered on the day debate will begin.

It is time for American citizens to reclaim their nation.

The pairing of Senator Cruz and Donald Trump is brilliant, I think. With their vastly different styles, they are coming together out of a shared conviction that the deal must be stopped – and should draw a diverse and very large crowd. Beck’s presence will add to this.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, with his daughter Liz Cheney, has written an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, “Restoring American Exceptionalism” (emphasis added):

In this piece, they “accused President Barak Obama of agreeing to a deal with Iran that will likely lead to ‘the first use of a nuclear weapon since Hiroshima and Nagasaki’

”The Cheneys implored the US Congress to reject the deal and to reimpose the sanctions that have been lifted from Iran.
“’It is possible to prevent Iran from attaining a nuclear weapon, but only if the US negotiates from a position of strength, refuses to concede fundamental points and recognizes that the use of military force will be required if diplomacy fails to convince Iran to abandon its quest for nuclear weapons,’ they wrote.”

Scary? Be present on the Capitol lawn on the 9th.

If Cheney’s comments don’t motivate you to come out in protest, consider this:

Brig.-General (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser and Ambassador Alan Baker have written a briefing for the Jerusalem Center for Public Affair, “Vital Points on the Iran Deal.”

The summary (emphasis added):

“[] The nuclear agreement with the main world powers is set to enable Iran safely, legally, and without economic hardships or changes in its rogue policies, to overcome the main obstacles on its way to possessing a nuclear weapons arsenal and becoming a regional hegemonic power.

“[] The agreement will legally provide Iran with the capability to shorten the time required to produce such an arsenal within the next 10-15 years (including the production of fissile material, weaponization, acquiring delivery systems, and improved military capabilities to protect the military nuclear program), so that it would be practically impossible to stop it.

“[] This is in exchange for a questionable and barely verifiable Iranian commitment to avoid producing arms and some limited restrictions on its nuclear program for 10-15 years.

“[] Reliance on Iran’s open reaffirmation in the agreement that it will not seek, develop, or acquire nuclear weapons is untrustworthy and even naïve, given Iran’s past record of concealing its nuclear activities, its periodic declarations of hostility vis-à-vis the U.S. and Israel, and its regime’s messianic aspirations.

“[] In short, the agreement unilaterally and unconditionally grants Iran everything it has been seeking without any viable quid-pro-quo from Iran to the international community.

“[] Above all, it should be obvious that no possible sympathetic statement by the U.S. Administration, or even military or other compensation, could logically stand against paving the route to a nuclear arsenal by a state that repeatedly declares its commitment to obliterate Israel.”

http://jcpa.org/article/vital-points-on-the-iran-deal-major-flaws-and-positive-elements/

I recommend that this entire briefing be read and shared broadly. Here I note, from inside the body of the briefing:

“…Practically speaking, military force could have achieved a longer postponement [of Iranian nuclear capability]. The continued credible threat thereof, which served up to now to deter Iran from breaking out to become a nuclear power, will continue to prevent Iranian plans to break out when the anticipated result would be destruction of their nuclear weapons project.

The likelihood that non-approval of the agreement by the U.S. Congress might, as claimed by President Obama, cause an enhanced rush by Iran toward nuclear weaponry, and bring about war, is without any practical logic.

Iran’s need to remove the crippling sanctions imposed by the U.S. and other major states and prevent renewal of such sanctions, and its fear of military action, are considerations that would in any event drive Iran to cooperate for the achievement of a better agreement.

“Some very serious issues of principle stem from this agreement.

In its uncompromising intent to advance the agreement in spite of the very serious security problems that the agreement poses to Israel’s security, the U.S. Administration and its international colleagues would appear to underestimate and even to downgrade Israel’s accepted stature as a Western-oriented, liberal democracy and bastion against the Islamic radicalization in the world advocated and practiced by Iran.

Attempts to assuage Israel’s real and genuine concerns by offering compensation for the dangers posed by the agreement cannot seriously reduce the nature of the threat that will still exist from Iran.

“The agreement does not seek to change Iran’s continued support of, and involvement in, international terror and its declared intention to eliminate Israel. Above all, it should be patently obvious to all that no possible sympathetic statement by the U.S. Administration, or even military or other compensation, could logically stand against paving the route to a nuclear arsenal by a state that repeatedly declares its commitment to obliterate Israel.”

This is a straight, tell-it-like-it-is assessment of the sort I’ve come to expect in particular from Kuperwasser (pictured), especially now that he no longer works with the government, and from Baker.

In no uncertain terms, it puts the lie to Obama’s assurances to Israel, and to his claims more generally. For that reason I am likely to return to this, as I examine Obama’s recent statements in a coming post.

Note in particular that it is not so that the alternative to this agreement is war. This is an argument Obama uses constantly, but it is without foundation and is designed simply to frighten people into accepting what he has put forth.

What is also highly significant is the role that the threat of military attack plays in keeping Iran from advancing its nuclear plans. I remain convinced that in this respect Israel has played a highly significant role, and will continue to do so.

Lastly, take note of the fact that nothing, but nothing, that Obama is offering Israel can remotely compensate for the dangers to Israel he is setting loose with his much vaunted, exceedingly dangerous deal.

Now I ask: WILL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SIT STILL FOR THIS OUTRAGE?

7.Will Israel Give Judea & Samaria to Iran? By Rob Muchnick Arutz Sheva IsraelNationalNews.com 8/30/2015, 9:08 AM

9 Rob Muchnick is the Director of Manhigut Yehudit USA, which educates on the need for Israel to have ‘authentic Jewish leadership’. He can be reached at rmuchnick@gmail.com. Dear Friends, I wish to ask you a question.

Will the Israeli government — the government of the Jewish State — give Judea and Samaria to Iran?

That may seem impossible.

First, because our prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, daily warns that Iranian leaders wish to destroy us.

Second, because the media, although they discuss the connection between Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran, never mention the deeper ties that bind Iran and PLO/Fatah (better known as the ‘Palestinian Authority’).

And what is not in the news goes to sleep in the mind.

But a few days ago, Iran’s official news agency brought this connection back into view by reporting that PLO/Fatah and Iran have signed an “all-out cooperation agreement.”

PLO/Fatah will cooperate fully with Iran!

As a recent documentary reminds me, such cooperation is nothing new. (1) (2)

In the Second Intifada, the Iranian ayatollahs were running PLO/Fatah’s deadliest terrorists, the Al Aqsa Martyrs, and mobilized them to ensure that Mahmoud Abbas became Yasser Arafat’s replacement. At the same time, Iran also sent the Karine A freighter with 50 tons of weapons to the PLO/Fatah. Thankfully, this ship was intercepted by Israel.

But the relationship is older.

In 1979, when the Iranian Islamist regime came to power, the New York Times reported on its front page that PLO/Fatah had been architect of that revolution:

Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas armed and trained Ayatollah Khomeini’s troops;

Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas were invited, before any others, to celebrate with Khomeini in Teheran;

Then Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas helped created the Iranian security services and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

As they celebrated in Teheran, Arafat declared that PLO/Fatah and Iranian aims were identical: the violent destruction of the Jewish people and State.

Meanwhile, Mahmoud Abbas explained to Arab reporters how it would be done:

First, promise peace. Then, gain some territory. And last: annihilate Israel. Abbas called it the ‘Plan of Phases’; the media called it the ‘Peace Process.’

So far, all goes according to plan. But will they conclude it?

Will we let them?

Join me, as Israeli citizens and Jews worldwide, in demanding from our prime minister answers to these questions:

Why is PLO/Fatah still in Israel?

Will our government give Judea and Samaria to Iran?

Will Israel Give Judea & Samaria to Iran? By Rob Muchnick

§ Most of the Palestinian camps in Lebanon and Syria have long served as large weapons warehouses controlled by various militias belonging to different groups. This has been happening while the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which is formally in charge of the refugee camps, continues to look the other way.

§ The 120,000 Palestinians living in Ain al-Hilweh are “unfortunate” because they are not being targeted by Israel. Otherwise, there would have been an international outcry and the UN Security Council would have held an emergency session to condemn Israel and call for an immediate cessation of hostilities. Instead, Ain al-Hilweh may soon fall into the hands of Al-Qaeda and Islamic State terrorists.

§ The Syrian Army has also been dropping barrel bombs on the camp almost on a weekly basis. But because Israel cannot be blamed, Palestinians killing Palestinians is not something that the international media and community are interested in.

§ Instead of admitting their responsibility for turning the camps into military bases, Palestinian leaders often prefer to blame others, preferably Israel, for the plight of their people.

Palestinians are once again paying a heavy price for allowing terror groups and armed gangs to operate freely inside their communities. But this is not happening in a refugee camp in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip. Rather, it is taking place in Lebanon, one of three Arab countries that host hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.

This explains why the international media and human rights organizations have shown little interest in what is happening inside the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, Ain al-Hilweh.

For the past two weeks, dozens of Palestinian families from Ain al-Hilweh have fled their homes after fierce clashes that erupted between Fatah militiamen and terrorists belonging to a radical Islamist gang affiliated with Al-Qaeda and Islamic State.

The UN Security Council has clearly not heard of the fighting in Ain al-Hilweh. That is why it has not even issued a statement expressing “concern” over the plight of the Palestinians in the camp.

The international media, for its part, has thus far shown little interest in the story. Why? The answer, as usual, is simple: No Israeli involvement.

The 120,000 Palestinians living in Ain al-Hilweh are “unfortunate” because they are not being targeted by Israel. Otherwise, there would have been an international outcry and the UN Security Council would have held an emergency session to condemn Israel and call for an immediate cessation of hostilities.

But, because Israel cannot be blamed, Palestinians killing Palestinians is not something that the international media and community are interested in.

The clashes in Ain al-Hilweh have so far resulted in the killing of four Fatah militiamen. At least 35 people were wounded in the fighting, which has been described as the worst in years. According to eyewitnesses, the rival parties have used various types of weapons to attack each other, including rocket-propelled grenades.

The four dead men have been identified as Fadi Khdeir, Ala Othman, Rabi Mashour and Hussein al-Saleh.

10

The latest round of fighting in Ain al-Hilweh began after Islamist terrorists tried unsuccessfully to assassinate Abu Ashraf al-Armoushi, a senior Fatah security commander. Earlier, the terrorists managed to kill another top Fatah official, Talal al-Urduni.

Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon have always been considered “extraterritorial” zones, managed exclusively by various armed groups. The Lebanese police and army have no role in maintaining law and order inside the camps. As in most similar situations, where armed clashes have erupted inside refugee camps, all that is left for the Lebanese Army to do is monitor the situation from a distance.

In 2007, however, the Lebanese Army was forced to intervene to stop armed clashes at another refugee camp, Nahr al-Bared. Dozens of people, many of them soldiers, were killed in the fighting, which also resulted in the near destruction of the camp. Nearly 30,000 Palestinians were displaced, and Nahr al-Bared remains a closed military zone.

Residents of Ain al-Hilweh are worried that they will meet the same fate as Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria. Yarmouk was once home to some 200,000 Palestinians. Today, the number of the residents has dropped to 12,000. Hundreds of Yarmouk residents have been killed and injured in fierce fighting between rival militias during the past four years. The Syrian Army has also been dropping barrel bombs on the camp almost on a weekly basis.

Yarmouk, Nahr al-Bared and Ain al-Hilweh continue to pay an extremely heavy price for agreeing to turn their camps into military bases. Most of the Palestinian camps in Lebanon and Syria have long served as large weapons warehouses controlled by various militias belonging to different groups. This has been happening while the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which is formally in charge of the refugee camps, continues to look the other way.

As the fighting in Ain al-Hilweh shows, the Palestinians have once again fallen victim to what many of them describe as the “chaos of weapons.” It is this type of anarchy that allowed Hamas to expel the Palestinian Authority from the Gaza Strip in 2007. Refugee camps in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are also full of weapons and gunmen belonging to various groups, including Fatah and Hamas.

Maher al-Shawish, a Palestinian writer and political analyst from Lebanon, says that Ain al-Hilweh is now facing a serious humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing fighting. “If you see the destruction inside the camp, you will realize that it is facing a real catastrophe that needs to be stopped immediately,” al-Shawish said. “The clashes are disgraceful for the Palestinian cause.”

But instead of admitting their responsibility for turning the camps into military bases, Palestinian leaders often prefer to blame others, preferably Israel, for the plight of their people.

in al-Hilweh may soon fall into the hands of Al-Qaeda and Islamic State terrorists. Yet instead of facing this threat and calling on the international community to assist in foiling the terrorists’ plan, Gen. Subhi Abu Arab, a top Fatah security commander in Lebanon, chose to hold Israel responsible. Needless to say, Israel has nothing to do with the latest round of fighting in Ain al-Hilweh or the “chaos of weapons” inside Palestinian refugee camps.

Still, Palestinian officials such as Gen. Abu Arab never miss an opportunity to lay the blame at Israel’s door. They also continue to lie to their people by claiming that Israel is behind Islamic State. Referring to the clashes in Ain al-Hilweh, Gen. Abu Arab had no problem explaining that, “This is a Zionist scheme to eliminate the right of return, displace the Palestinians and stir trouble inside the camp by using a fifth column.”

As long as Palestinian and Arab leaders continue to believe conspiracy theories and refuse to wake up to the reality of the dangerous situation inside the refugee camps, the Palestinians of Ain al-Hilweh, like those of Yarmouk, sadly will face a bleak future.

It is Time Standup for Israel – The Israel Longhorn Project – A Holistic Project: http://longhornproject.org “We need sponsors and donors”

We will bring Texas Longhorns home to Israel to help ranchers and farmers. Texas Longhorn cattle are pre-adaptive to the desert environment.

The European beef cattle brought to Israel 60 years ago were bred for a rich pasture environment, not for Israel’s semi-arid desert environment.

The Galilee is overflowing with non-native shrubs that burn at a higher temperature igniting trees that cause forest fires. The soil is very dry and lacks healthy bacteria and fungi.

This is a Holistic approach to enhance ecosystem processes thereby build soil health, increase water and carbon absorption by increased grass growth and return life to the dry Galilean soils. Benefits regional environments, community economics, social and international relations.

Israeli ranches and farmers are under attack by jackals, wolves and Arabs. Texas Longhorn cattle can solve the above environmental problems and stop the attacks by simply lowering their sharp horns. Support the Israel Longhorn Project help put a stop to it now!http://longhornproject.org

With a nominal donation from you can help make a difference. A $60 donation from 2,000 of you will help end this nightmare. Help us reach our goal of $120,000 to start the project; the second year we will need $140,000, in the follow three years we will need $315,000 to make project self-supporting in the 5th year.

10.Israel Could Stop Nabi Salah Riots, But it Doesn’t – Why?

By Eliran Aharon, INN Video of soldier being attacked at Nabi Salah raises many questions – including how an illegal violent demo has been tolerated for 5 years.

13
Riot at Nabi Salah shortly before the now-viral footage

The viral video of an IDF soldier being attacked by Palestinian villagers has once again shone a spotlight on the Arab village of Nabi Salah, a hotbed of anti-Israeli violence and provocations.

Local Arabs from the Tamimi clan, together with a permanent contingent of foreign left-wing extremists based at the village, clash with Israeli security forces every Friday, as they attempt to attack neighboring Jewish villages such a Neve Tzuf and Halamish.
The controversial footage – in which a soldier is forced to abandon an arrest of a rock-thrower – has caused a storm of controversy in Israel. Many right-wing legislators, such as Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman, see it as proof of how the army’s hands have been tied by the political echelons and called for an urgent review of the IDF’s rules of engagement in dealing with rioters.

But others have questioned why authorities are not being more proactive in tackling what are essentially staged provocations, in Nabi Salah and elsewhere, many of which happen like clockwork each and every week.

Speaking to Arutz Sheva, David Bedein of the Center for Near-East Policy Research explained that the clashes are part of a longstanding attempt by Palestinians to seize control of a well owned by the Jewish village of Halamish.

Since losing a legal battle in the Israeli High Court, the Arab villagers – led by the notoriously violent Tamimi clan – have staged weekly attempts to take the well by force. Each time the IDF turns up to repel them, in what has become a weekly ritual involving anarchists and left-wing activists from both Israel and abroad.

“They notify the media ahead of time, every Wednesday, that Friday they will be there,” Bedein said. The “memo” is regularly communicated via Gush Shalom, a left-wing NGO that receives significant foreign funding.

“What’s amazing is our agency for the last five years have asked the police: ‘If you know ahead of time they are going to be violent, why don’t you stop them?’ And they say, ‘Well this is a matter for the general security services or for the Israeli security establishment.’

“So we turn to the Israeli defense establishment and they send us back to the police. This has been going on for five years now, this ping-pong between the security establishment and the police.

“It’s about time the people throughout Israel make this demand of the army and of the police, that they stop these guys before they conduct their demonstrations – because they’re not demonstrations, they’re riots – and anyone who doesn’t believe it, just look at the YouTube (videos) they put out.”

§ The surge in Germany’s Muslim population — propelled by a wave of migration unprecedented since the Second World War — represents a demographic shift of epic proportions, one that critics of the country’s open-door immigration policy warn will change the face of Germany forever.

Germany’s Muslim population is set to skyrocket by more than 700,000 in 2015, pushing the total number of Muslims in the country to nearly 6 million for the first time.

The surge in Germany’s Muslim population — propelled by a wave of migration unprecedented since the Second World War — represents a demographic shift of epic proportions, one that critics of the country’s open-door immigration policy warn will change the face of Germany forever.

At a press conference on August 19, German Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière revealed that a record 800,000 migrants and refugees — the equivalent of nearly one percent of Germany’s total population — are expected to arrive in Germany in 2015, a four-fold increase over 2014. He said that 83,000 migrants had arrived in July alone, and that the figure for August would be higher still.

De Maizière said that although many of the migrants are from the Middle East and North Africa, a large number (40%) are from countries in the Balkans, including Albania and Kosovo. This implies that nearly half of those arriving in Germany are economic migrants, not refugees fleeing war zones.

14

According to German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle, the Berlin refugee center pictured here receives up to 2000 applications for asylum per day. (Image source: Deutsche Welle video screenshot)

Of the 800,000 migrants and refugees arriving in Germany in 2015, at least 80% (or 640,000) are Muslim, according to a recent estimate by the Central Council of Muslims in Germany (Zentralrat der Muslime in Deutschland, ZMD), a Muslim umbrella group based in Cologne. This estimate is not in dispute.

In addition to the newcomers, the natural rate of population increase of the Muslim community already living in Germany is approximately 1.6% per year (or 77,000), according to data extrapolated from a recent Pew Research Center study on the growth of the Muslim population in Europe.

Based on Pew projections, the Muslim population of Germany reached an estimated 5,068,000 by the end of 2014. The 640,000 Muslim migrants arriving in Germany in 2015, combined with the 77,000 natural increase, indicates that the Muslim population of Germany will jump by 717,000, to reach an estimated 5,785,000 by the end of 2015. This would leave Germany with the highest Muslim population in Western Europe.

By way of comparison, the surge in Germany’s Muslim population would be equivalent to the Muslim population of the United States increasing by 3 million in just one year.

Critics say that German officials, under pressure to solve Europe’s migration crisis, are ignoring the long-term consequences of taking in so many migrants from the Middle East and North Africa.

In addition to security concerns (Islamic radicals are almost certainly trying to enter Germany disguised as refugees), they say, the surge in Muslim immigration will accelerate the Islamization of Germany, a process that is already well under way.

Islam is the fastest growing religion in post-Christian Germany. This is evidenced by the fact that an increasing number of churches in Germany are being converted into mosques, some of which are publicly sounding calls to prayer (the adhan) from outdoor loudspeaker systems. The increase is such that some neighborhoods in Germany evoke the sights and sounds of the Muslim Middle East.

Islamic Sharia law is advancing rapidly throughout Germany, with Sharia courts now operating in all of Germany’s big cities. This “parallel justice system” is undermining the rule of law in Germany, experts warn, but government officials are “powerless” to do anything about it. At the same time, German judges are increasingly referring and deferring to Sharia law in German law courts.

Polygamy, although illegal under German law, is commonplace among Muslims in all major German cities. In Berlin, for example, it is estimated that fully one-third of the Muslim men living in the Neukölln district of the city have two or more wives.

According to an exposé broadcast by RTL, one of Germany’s leading media companies, Muslim men residing in Germany routinely take advantage of the social welfare system by bringing two, three or four women from across the Muslim world to Germany, and then marrying them in the presence of an imam (Muslim religious leader). Once in Germany the women request social welfare benefits, including the cost of a separate home for themselves and for their children, on the claim of being a “single parent with children.”

lthough the welfare fraud committed by Muslim immigrants is an “open secret” costing German taxpayers millions of euros each year, government agencies are reluctant to take action due to political correctness, according to RTL.

Spiraling levels of violent crime perpetrated by shiftless immigrants from the Middle East and the Balkans have turned parts of German cities into “areas of lawlessness” — areas that are de facto “no-go” zones for police.

In Wuppertal, groups of bearded Muslim radicals calling themselves the “Sharia Police” have tried to enforce Islamic law on the streets by distributing yellow leaflets that explain the Islamist code of conduct in the city’s Sharia zones. In Hamburg, Muslim radicals have infiltrated dozens of primary and secondary schools, where they are imposing Islamic norms and values on non-Muslim students and teachers.

In Berlin, local officials have waived rules prohibiting religious dress in public buildings so that Muslim women can wear headscarves. In Bavaria, Muslim children are being exempted from mandatory visits to former concentration camps as part of Holocaust education programs.

In Bremen, city officials signed an agreement with the city’s 40,000-strong Muslim community. The agreement guarantees the protection of Muslim community properties, the approval of the construction of mosques with minarets and domes, the allotment of land for Muslim cemeteries, the supply of halal food at prisons and hospitals, the recognition of three Muslim holidays, Muslim representation in state institutions and other rights and privileges.

More than 700 German Muslims have joined the Islamic State and traveled to Syria and Iraq, and some of them have continued to receive welfare benefits from the German state while on the battlefields of the Middle East. Jihadists who have returned to Germany and pose an acute threat to national security threat are nevertheless eligible to receive benefits once again.

Germany is home to more than 7,000 Salafists who adhere to a branch of radical Islam that is vehemently opposed to Germany’s democratic order. German officials say that 1,000 of these individuals are especially dangerous (some are believed to have joined sleeper cells) and could attack at any time.

At the same time, however, Salafists are allowed to openly proselytize on German streets to find new recruits and thereby increase their numbers. In a recent recruitment initiative, Salafists launched an unprecedented nationwide campaign, “A Koran in Every Home,” to distribute 25 million copies of the Koran, translated into the German language, to every household in Germany, free of charge.

And yet the guardians of German multiculturalism have been working overtime to silence critics of the rise of Islam in Germany. In Bavaria, for example, German activists opposed to the construction of a mega-mosque in Munich have been classified as “extremists” and are being monitored by German intelligence.

German media consistently accuse commentators on the rise of Islam of engaging in hate speech, in an underhanded effort to try to intimidate them into silence. A particular object of wrath is a very popular German-language website called Politically Incorrect (PI), which over the years has grown into a major information resource for people concerned about the spread of Islam in Germany. PI’s motto reads “Against the Mainstream, Pro-American, Pro-Israel, Against the Islamization of Europe.” Not surprisingly, German media elites want PI shut down.

It is quite possible that German Chancellor Angela Merkel — who recently admitted that German multiculturalism has failed — views mass immigration from the Muslim world as the solution to Germany’s collapsing birth rate, which is among the lowest in the world.

The German government expects the population to shrink from roughly 81 million today to 67 million in 2060, although Germany’s statistics office, Destatis, recently reported that high levels of immigration would cause the country’s population to shrink more slowly than previously expected.

A study by the Hamburg-based World Economy Institute has warned that the low birthrate threatens the long-term viability of the German economy. “No other industrial country is deteriorating at this speed despite the strong influx of young migrant workers,” the report said. “Germany cannot continue to be a dynamic business hub in the long-run without a strong jobs market.”

Germany will need to do a far better job of integrating immigrants if they are to be a net gain for the German economy. A recent study by the Cologne Institute for Economic Research showed that Muslim immigrants were more likely to be unemployed and living off the social welfare state than any other migrant group in Germany. The report said that root cause for the high unemployment rates is the lack of educational attainment and job training qualifications.

Meanwhile, the migration crisis shows no sign of abating. At a summit on migration held in Vienna on August 27, the EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, said: “There are 20 million refugees waiting at the doorstep of Europe. Ten to 12 million in Syria, 5 million Palestinians, 2 million Ukrainians and about 1 million in the southern Caucasus.”

On August 21, Germany suspended the so-called Dublin Regulation — a law that requires people seeking refuge within the EU to do so in the first European country they reach — for asylum seekers from Syria. This means that Syrians reaching Germany will be allowed to stay while their applications are being processed. Critics say the move will encourage even more migrants to make their way to Germany.

Most Germans seem to be unfazed by what is happening to their country. An August 21 poll for German broadcaster ZDF showed that 60% of Germans thought their country could cope with the high number of refugees, and 86% said that Germany was a country of immigration.

In an interview with the newspaper Der Tagesspiegel, Aiman Mazyek, the head of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany, said that so many Muslims have been flowing into the country that attendance at many mosques has doubled in the past month alone. Commenting on the demographic revolution sweeping Germany, Mazyek summed it up with an understatement: “The number of Muslims in Germany will increase significantly.”

In nearby Hungary, President Viktor Orbán has been one of the few European heads of state to sound the alarm. “A year ago I said that we live in times when anything can happen, and I still say so today,” he said recently. “Who would have thought that Europe would not be capable of protecting its own borders against unarmed refugees?” He added:

“For us today, what is at stake is Europe, the lifestyle of European citizens, European values, the survival or disappearance of European nations, and more precisely formulated, their transformation beyond recognition. Today, the question is not merely in what kind of a Europe we would like to live, but whether everything we understand as Europe will exist at all.”

A Simple Balloon Request By Yisrael Medad Arutz Sheva IsraelNationalNews.com 9/1/2015, 1:09 PM

15 Yisrael Medad I am a resident of Shiloh, with my wife and children, and now grandchildren, since 1981, having come on Aliyah in 1970. I have served in a volunteer capacity as a Yesha Council spokesperson, twice a member of Amana’s secretariat, Benjamin Regional Council plenum member and mayor of Shiloh. I was a parliamentary aide for Geula Cohen and two other MKs, an advisor to a Minister, vice-chairman and executive director of Israel’s Media Watch and currently, am Information and Content Resource coordinator for the Begin Heritage Center.

I had posted on my Facebook page a picture of a balloon floating above Shvut Rachel (circled in orange).

16 It is there to provide intelligence to the Army (and police, I presume) regarding suspected ‘price tag’ attacks and, I would hope, attempted Arab terrorist infiltrations as well as property protection.

Last Saturday, we had an incident here between Esh Kodesh & the marauding Arabs of Qusra.

I have a simple question (suggested to me by my neighbor via his son): did the camera in that balloon provide evidence as to which side initiated the violence?

Was it that the Arabs invaded, set fire to Jewish fields and then engaged in a rock-throwing duel or did the religious Jews, go out into the fields on the Sabbath and, and, and … well, what exactly did they supposedly do?

Can we ask the IDF if they can make public the pictures they took?

That’s a fairly simple request that would not involve any state secrets.

BTW, one of Manny Winston, z’l, inventions in the 1980’s was the design of a special Observation Balloon, so the IDF could view the enemy ‘over the horizon’ & thus, protect our soldiers & our civilians.
