Reaching for the Stars…. Whether a local dramaturge or a crafts person's collaborative, locals in Los Angeles are active this June whether hot, humid, a holiday, or not.
From neighborhood theatre to the Tarzana Cultural Cultural Center, the San Fernando Valley Museum, to the Hollywood Bowl...... Events are on the Summer Landscape in Los Angeles and abundantly enriching daily life.
Los Angeles is unique in its governing process…our neighborhood councils, continue to promote unique city sector for food, boutiques, international and cultural influences, artisan wares, parades, cafes, antiques, and historic areas from Pershing Square to the El Pueblo.
Newcomers can expect the best of small businesses, a cross-fertilization of ideas, and many offerings either solo or creative culture collaborations. For example, here are two to report: one every Friday afternoons (2rd market today) at the Tarzana Cultural Center called Artzana every Friday a small garden set bazaar featuring creative arts, crafts, live music and food (community market), free admission, all ages welcome. Next week will be the fourth week of what is beginning as a weekly local fete. The goal: creating culture and social enterprise one item, one conversation, one bird song, fountain, songwriter, and discussion, child's laugh, and purchase at a time.
