The collection of free educational worksheets at InstantWorksheets.net has expanded to include nearly 1,200 printables.
"InstantWorksheets.net has a wide variety of professionally created worksheets that are ideal for teachers and homeschooling parents," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "I've just added 50 new worksheets as part of my continuing expansion of the site."
The newest additions include Spanish and ESL worksheets. There are sheets for both elementary and high school students and include quizzes on tenses, verb conjugation and vowels as well as weather vocabulary.
There are also new reading comprehension quizzes as well as spelling worksheets and number practice sheets for young children, with word prompts and "penmanship paper" style lines on which to practice writing each list of words.
Other new worksheets include: a school survey bar graph, tally charts, prefix practice, a list of commonly confused words, and illustrated matching guides of famous scientists and African Americans.
While any of the worksheets can be downloaded and printed for free in PDF or editable DOC (Microsoft Word) format, InstantWorksheets.net also offers a $4 membership option. Members can view the site without advertisements and also have use of a custom math worksheet generator that lets the user input information to create sets of math problems (addition, subtraction, division, or fractions).
"I'm pleased to offer these worksheets at no charge, as I know teachers are always on a tight budget," Savetz said.
There are nearly 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
