The new additions are perfect for business, school, and personal projects. "These sites contain a broad selection of printables for both OpenOffice and LibreOffice, which are free alternatives to Microsoft Word," said Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "Either one is a good choice if you need a free word processor, spreadsheet, or presentation solution. The programs are compatible with each other, and the files almost always work with colleagues who use Microsoft products. I'm happy to provide these free templates." Several of the new additions are resumes. Basic, intricate, or colorful, each one covers a general approach, such as the chronological resume, the functional resume, and the education resume. Other work-related printables include a log sheet and an order form. Printable letterhead templates are now available at both sites, with three simple, pretty designs for business or home use. One has clean, straight lines along the border, another has a brown header and footer, and one is covered in a background of blue swirls. They lend a personal, professional touch to any correspondence. There are now 66 templates available at LibreOfficeTemplates.net and OpenOfficeTemplates.com, respectively. All files are free to download as an editable ODT file that works in any open source software. Other popular categories include family trees, invoices, and medical printables.
