There are a lot of cute new additions to FamilyTreeTemplates.net, with 24 new family trees that cover extended families, ancestry charts, genetic trackers, and more.
"I've gotten a lot of requests for family trees with more generations," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator, "So this batch has a 9-generation and a 10-generation family tree."
The new 10- and 9-generation family trees are two-page templates that can be taped or glued together before filling in. There are also quite a few illustrated family trees that use graphics to create a fun or serious mood. There are two wedding family trees with leaves that guests can sign and lovebird silhouettes that represent the happy couple.
Among the new ancestry forms are several reference charts for creating more detailed genealogical records. These include medical and relationship symbols for genograms, family timelines, oral history forms, and eco-maps.
The 100-plus family trees at FamilyTreeTemplates.net vary in form from circle to fan to hourglass to bowtie family trees. Some have illustrations of trees, silly graphics for kids, or space for dates and events. Some are only available as a free PDF, but many have a $4 DOC option as well, which allows the user to type directly onto the template.
There are more than 90 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
