A Starr in Qatar Doha, Qatar welcomes international business coach, Gloria Starr, April 2012. Velosi and Dr. Shaukat Chandna, the Managing Director of the Qatar Center for Career Development invited Gloria Starr to Doha to meet the executives of high profile companies to share her expertise on impression management, etiquette, manners, protocol, communication skills and leadership excellence.
Ms. Gloria Starr was the VIP guest at the launch of the new Versace perfume, Yellow Diamond. She was given a private tour of the Aspire, the Academy for Sports Excellence (Doha is bidding for the 2020 Olympic games) 290 acres, with two hotels and equipment and tracks, pools etc. for every sport.
Ms. Gloria Starr spoke to the top 50 executives at the largest bank in the Middle East, the Bank of Doha and was the guest speaker for the Velosi – Qatar Center for Career Development joint business venture to 250 attendees at the private club, the Diplomatic Club. Ms. Starr stayed at the Souq Waqif, one of six boutique hotels owned by the Emir and did some training programs for their employees.
