
Liz Bywater, PhD, is president of Bywater Consulting Group, a Philadelphia-based organizational consulting firm. As a consultant and coach to corporate executives, professionals and business owners, Dr. Bywater helps her clients dramatically improve individual, team and organizational performance. Dr. Bywater writes, speaks and provides expert commentary on a variety of career and workplace topics. An internationally acclaimed expert in career, leadership, and workplace performance, she is quoted frequently in the media and has been interviewed for numerous radio and print outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and USA Today. Her original articles, on such topics as outstanding leadership, effective communication and workplace conflict resolution, have been published in a variety of print and online media.
Dr. Bywater earned her PhD at the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies and her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude, with Distinction in All Subjects. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for the Advancement of Consulting and Women Inventing Next. She is also an advisory board member and columnist for Par Excellence Magazine.
