Grant Langdon grew up in the 1687 house built by one of his ancestors on his farm. As president of the Farm Bureau , chairman of the local co-op and his church board he was looked up to in the community. A serial arsonist and a crooked Sheriff changed all that. His experiences in court gave him insite on how our courts can be improved. The farm was lost on the courthouse steps and he arrived in Ohio with $200 in his pocket. His second book Rebels of the North, how Land Policy Caused the Civil War deals with land policy in Colonial America in the 1600's and the dispute between Colonial New York the Massachusetts Bay Colony about 1750. It follows land policy up until the Civil War.
