Petrack Consulting is dedicated to working with leadership and staff to bring excellence to emergency and urgent care services. Our background in emergency medicine, administrative medicine and organizational development allows us to create uniquely effective solutions for enhancing care in emergency or urgent care facilities.

We offer consulting services to address organizational challenges, as well as training services focused on general clinical and pediatric service improvements Our CalmerKids Certification program was created to enable facilities to easily and cost-effectively upgrade care for children and families.

Dr. Petrack is board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He established Petrack Consulting in 2003, and has collaborated with senior hospital and departmental leadership and staff to enhance care delivery and address institutional challenges for large, academic departments, smaller community hospitals and urgent care centers.

He has been a featured speaker at national medical and nursing meetings related to emergency and urgent care medicin. Dr. Petrack currently serves as the Medical Director of Pediatric Emergency Services for Fairview Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic System, where he continues to practice pediatric emergency medicine.
