Gabriela Santamaria is vice president of client fulfillment and chief operating officer of Sovran Training LLC. Holding a degree from George Mason University in management with a minor in information technology, Santamaria brings up-to-date knowledge and energy to the Sovran team.
As a manager and trainer at Business Management Research Associates in Fairfax, Virginia, Santamaria dealt with more than 20 different government agencies in the U.S. and around the world, while coordinating the delivery of 40 training classes per month. She assisted in the strategic planning of the company, created a new database to track instructors and class performance more effectively. She enhanced the efficiency of the scheduling model while reducing overall costs.
At Sovran, Santamaria coordinates all of the company's training activities, including curriculum design, recruitment, training and coordination of instructors, and the day-to-day management of staff and contractors. In addition, she provides management support to various clients.
