Our co-owners, Marc R Kassouf CEO and S Nathan DePetris COO originate from two disparate backgrounds outside the leisure, travel, and hospitality segments that complement each other in expertise.
Mr. Marc R Kassouf possesses a career and background in corporate finance and banking, information systems, and executive consulting. Industries include banking and finance, healthcare, automotive, professional services, real estate development, hospitality and travel / leisure. He holds certifications in the areas of project management, IT audit, corporate governance, resort & vacation ownership, travel, and cruise expertise.
Mr. S. Nathan DePetris contrasts this with backgrounds in retail management, marketing management, customer relationship and service. Industries and sectors include music and motion picture, entertainment, real estate agency, resort & vacation ownership portfolio management, and travel / leisure. He holds certifications in the areas of general travel, specific destinations, niche travel products, and cruise expertise.
Since its founding, Pride Travel's owners have fervently believed in the importance of education, certification, and accreditation. To that end, our owners and executives themselves regularly acquire and maintain industry designations, destination specialties, and brand certifications in addition to requiring rigorous training of all employees through an internship or mentorship program. Moreover, Mr. Kassouf and Mr. Depetris regularly attend industry tradeshows and conferences at the local, national, and international levels. They are involved in various capacities in local non-profit organizations and the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association on committees and collaborations with the board or directors.
